Think of the Wild West but with powers. My character will be one of the only people in the town who doesn't have any abilities, but has the unfortunate job of being sheriff having to break up fights, stop robberies, and keep the town safe from the various mythological creatures that roam through the Dust Bowl. Your character would be a newcomer who begins to unravel a plan of one wealthy millionaire to control the entire town's mind and turn them into his personal army.
