Penelope laughs with Harley. "So he's a cook then? Do you cook?" She smiled. "Way back when I was quite the cook. I would mostly help my grandma cook, but I would also do it a lot myself."

"oh, no i dont cook, other than cereal, wait…you dont cook cereal"
She says looking down to the ground like she was actually thinking about cooking cereal.
"Eli! Do you cook cereal?"
She says running her fingers through her hair
"what? No"
He says laughing as he gets back to work.
Penelope started laughing. "I mean you could cook cereal if you made the actual cereal yourself!" She says with a smile as she went to sit on the couch.

"YOU are a genius, ELIJAH how do you make cereal?"
"you….put milk in it?"
"oh….nevermind"
Harley says then she turns back around sitting on the couch with her.
"so….do you think youre gonna start going to school?"
She says putting her legs on the coffee table.
"I have made granola before, which counts as a cereal to most people!" She says with a smile. "I could teach you!"
"I… I'm not sure. I feel like I have enough knowledge for now. I can always go to college later, like whenever I want to I guess. Are you in college?"

"oh we'll have to do that sometime! And i get that, thats what im doing. Well im just starting college a year late. I needed time to settle itto my house and get ready for college."
She says with a smile now crossing her legs as their still propped up on the table
"Yeah, that would be a lot of fun!" She relaxed into the couch a little more. "I really don't know what I would do for college though, I don't really have anything that I want to study and I don't really want to go to school."

"I mean you don't have to, I was just asking out of curiosity"
She says looking up at the ceiling, feeling a little awkward.
"Yeah I know, I guess I just haven't ever really thought about it." She smiled. "Oh, what kind of music is popular now? As you know, I've been frozen for 11 years, but I didn't experience more than a few hours that day. I haven't listened to any music since 1986." She was very interested to hear Harley's answer.

"well….if you want the good music, i say 21 pilots, but everyone says Lil Nas X and artists like that….. which is…an interesting choice. but i guess im fine with that"
She says tapping her foot on the table now.
"Hmm… I've never heard of them before." A small growl came from Penelope's stomach. "Oh man, I guess I am hungry!" She smiled. "Hey, Eli? Is dinner almost ready?" She yelled to the kitchen.

"actually yes! I started thawing a chicken earlier and started cooking it right when we got here! If you guys wanna just come in and get it, theres chicken, mashed potatoes and corn. Sorry it was the only thing i could really think to fix."
He says scooping up plates of food.
"That's great news since I'm actually really hungry! That sounds and smells delicious!" Penelope stood up and walked over to the dining room, almost drooling when she saw the food.

"here you go! I made alot of corn…..wait thats what you said that you liked alot right?"
He says nervously then trying to untie the apron.
She smiled. "Yes it sure is, thanks!" She saw him struggling with the apron so she helps him untie it, the sits down at the table.

"uh, thank you"
He says with a smile as Harley gets her food, not saying much.
"You're welcome!" As Penelope takes a bite, her eyes widen. "Oh my goodness!! This is so good!! I haven't had a home-cooked meal for way too long." She very happily eats her food.

"well im glad! You can come over anytime and i can cook you anything you want!"
He says a little, really happy that she liked it so much.
"I know it's not my right to invite you over to someone else's house, but you can come over to Harley's and I can make anything! And Harley, get ready to have some great meals!" She says very excitedly.

Harley let out a little laugh as she sat down with the others.
"okay! Im ready to actually have some good food other than hot pockets and pizza rolls"
"Just you wait!" She said with a large smile on her face. She then took another bite, almost done already.

Both of them smiling as she smiled widely,
"well for right now, i have plenty where that came from"
He says pointing the the kitchen with a smile.
(Lol I just had cold pizza XD)
I'm probably only going to have more corn, then it's… pie time!" She was super excited to taste the pie, it had always been her favorite dessert.

"oh right! The pie!"
He says quickly finishing his food and washing it, along with Harleys plate setting it in the sink, washing it waiting for the oven to ding.
"I'll cut it!!" She yelled, maybe too excited, while quickly standing up. She went over to the oven to look at the pie through the oven window.

"here, ill get it out"
He says putting his oven mitts on, opening the door, sliding the pie out and setting it on a wooden board on the counter.
"here, be careful please"
he says slipping off the mitts, hanging them up and giving her a knife, careful to watch her so she wouldn't get cut.
She smiled at Eli's concern. "Hey, technically I've made and cut pie longer than you." She first giggled, then she cut the pie carefully. She cut it first in half then in fourths and so on. After placing a piece of pie on 3 plates, she gave a plate to Elijah and one to Harley. "Okay, let's all take a bite at the same time!"

Elijah says as his mouth watered at just looking at it. The crust was perfectly golden, not burnt in the slightest. The braided dough was perfectly placed, he could see the appley dessert. He was quite amazed.
(I don't care if appleys, not a word, because it is now)

Penelope gets some pie on her fork holding it up waiting for everyone else with a big smile on her face.

Elijah says holding his piece of pie up, along with Harley.
Taking a bite of the pie, it was better than he thought it would be. He hadn't had Apple pie in forever!
"How is this so good!?"
Harley exclaims as she swallows it
