Syndra considers this, surprised by this sudden invitation, and no idea how to respond. "Um…………"On one hand, chance to hang out with this person/maybe friend more? On the other, lots of people, probably talking and many more social interactions to be had. Hmm….. "Sure?" She answers with an awkward question mark hanging on the end of her phrase, a nervous smile on her face. "Yeah, that sounds…. fun."
"Don't feel pressured to come if you dont want to! If you don't think you'll enjoy it, thats fine, don't go!" Jasmine said, feeling bad for pressuring her new friend.
"No, no! I… want to go I want to meet people and stuff, and I can't exactly do that if I hide from every social event that exists……" Syndra wrings her hands, trying to word her next sentence. "I'm just worried about what people think of me sometimes, and sometimes it just gets scary in crowds. But I want to experience this stuff, so I'll come with. I'll just probably hang with you though, I don't do well alone in these kind of settings…." Syndra gulps and quiets down, hoping that Jasmine wasn't overwhelmed or unnerved by that sudden burst of personal exposition.
