He held her close.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
She smiled gently at him.
He smiled back, kissing her cheek.
She giggled a little at the kiss and wrapped her arms around him, her seizure pushed to the back of her mind.
He held her close. "You alright?"
She sighed at the reminder, nodding softly. ”I’ve been better… but I've had worse too. I’ve actually had to go to the hospital a couple of times when I was a kid.” she told him.
He nodded slightly. "Are you…are you sure you're okay?"
”I think so.” she nodded. ”I don't think I'll have another one… but I should take it easy for a little while.” she said, thoughtfully.
He nodded again. "Alright. You wanna sit down…?"
”Yeah. That sounds like a good start.” she nodded.
He nodded, and guided her over to the couch.
She leaned against him, feeling a little light-headed for a moment before she managed to sit down comfortably on the couch.
He helped her sit. "Do you still want wine?"
She shook her head. ”Thank you but I probably shouldn't after… Maybe later.” she told him.
He nodded. "Alright. I'll wait, then." He replied with a smile.
She smiled back. ”You don't have to wait. You can start without me.”
"Nah. I'll wait." he replied simply.
”Your choice.” she shrugged a little. ”Do you want to sit with me?”
He smiled. "I'll sit with you, yeah."
She smiled back and patted the cushion next to her for him to sit on.
He sat down next to her, wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
She happily nuzzled into his side, resting her head on his shoulder.
He smiled at her.
She smiled back at him.
He kissed her cheek gently.
She hummed softly at the kiss, her eyes fluttering closed.
He smiled down at her.
She had a soft smile on her face as she curled against him.
He hummed for a moment.
Her smile grew as she nuzzled into his side.
