She chuckled again. ”If I wanted you to know, I wouldn't be using a method you don't understand.” she pointed out.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
He squinted at her a little.
She kissed his cheek. ”It’s nothing important. Really, it's something of a preventive for me.” she admitted softly.
"Ah, alright." he replied, looking at her carefully.
She smiled reassuringly at him. ”It helps keep some of my thoughts out of my head so I don't have an attack so often.” she explained.
"Ah, I see." he replied with a nod.
”Yeah.” she nodded a little.
He smiled softly at her.
She smiled faintly back, a little embarrassed as her fingers finally stopped tapping.
"You can tap, I was just curious."
She shrugged a little. ”I don't really have anything else… Well, maybe one.” she admitted before tapping much slower.
He nodded a little, and finished up his food.
Without really intending to, her fingers picked up their pace again. She wasn't completely sure if she was repeating some of what she tapped earlier but she knew there were some new thoughts and questions that she was working out.
He took a deep breath, letting it out again.
She paused for a moment, raising a brow at his actions before starting a new string of code. Questions that she wanted to ask but knew he wouldn't answer.
He wished he knew what she was saying, but didn't ask.
She wished she could ask him these questions but it wasn’t the right time or place… and she had already asked some of these types of questions and he didn’t answer.
He glanced at what was left of her food. "You going to finish eating?"
She hummed a little and looked at him before nodding. ”Oh, yeah, probably.” she said, gauging how much food he had. She had maybe about a third of her meal left.
He nodded a little. He only had some fries left, so he was eating slower now.
She took a slow breath and clenched her fist to stop tapping before going back to eating.
He smiled over at her.
She smiled softly back at him.
He leaned over to kiss her cheek.
Her smile grew at the kiss as she started blushing.
He looked at her happily.
She giggled lightly and shook her head a little.
He smiled at her.
She smiled back. ”Are you flirting with me?” she teased.
He raised his eyebrows. "Uhm…maybe?"
