She smiled sweetly back.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
He took a deep breath.
She kissed his cheek again. “I should probably freshen up a little before we go.” she suggested, almost whispering.
He nodded slightly. "Yeah. Okay." he let go of her so she could go.
“I’ll be right back. I’m just going to fix my hair and put on a shirt that’s not so wrinkled from a whole day of cuddling.” she said with a hint of a laugh as she started to her room.
He laughed a little. "Alright."
She smiled at him, blushing a little as she closed the door almost all the way.
He waited for her to come back, tapping his foot faintly.
She came out a few moments later, hair brushed and wearing a fresh shirt and jacket.
He looked up, smiling a little when he saw her.
She smiled softly back at him. “Are you ready?” she asked gently.
He nodded a little. "Yeah."
She nodded softly and gave him a gentle smile. “It’ll be ok.”
He shrugged a little. "I hope so."
She nodded briefly in understanding and hugged him again. “I’ll be here for you. No matter what we find out.” she promised him.
He nodded slightly. "Thank you."
She smiled a little at him. “Anytime.” she assured.
He kissed her cheek.
She smiled a bit more and kissed him in return.
He smiled happily.
She smiled softly back, a little nervous about… Well, she wasn't sure if she was actually going to meet his cousin when she drove Killian to see him. Still… At least she was fairly certain that Alex was a nice guy.
"Are we taking Sparky?" he asked curiously.
“Of course.” she answered with an easy laugh. “Civilian mode though.”
"Alright. Are you driving, or do you want me to?"
She shrugged a little. “Either way works for me. Although I don't know where your cousin wanted to meet you.”
"His house." He replied.
She chuckled at the simple answer. “And that is… where?” she asked.
"Oh. Right. Uh. Does Sparky have a GPS I can put his address into?"
“Of course he does.” she smiled, rolling her eyes. “You just have to tell him the address.”
He nodded a little, slipping his shoes on and heading out the door.
