He did as she said, doing his best to move quickly.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
She let out a cry of excitement as they got the point and finished the game. “We did it!”
He grinned. "Let's see how well we stack up against other players."
She nodded happily as the leaderboard came on screen. “What name do we want to put in for our score?” she asked, watching their score climb.
"Oh! Uhm…I don't know." he said slowly.
She giggled a little. “Neither do I… What about just JnK. For our initials?” she suggested.
"Yeah, that sounds good."
“Ok.” she smiled, kissing his cheek before entering their initials on the leaderboard.
He kissed her cheek in return, still smilng.
She blushed lightly, smiling back.
He hummed faintly, smiling at her. "Shall we try with a different game?"
“Sure.” she nodded. “You have one in mind?”
"No, but let's find one."
“Alright.” she nodded, still smiling at him.
He smiled back, and looked around for a new game to play.
She sighed softly, letting him continue to hold her, as she also looked for another single-player game for them to beat.
He eventually found a game, pointing it out to her. "That work?"
“Sure.” she smiled, nodding at the suggestion.
He nodded, leading her over to the game. "Here we are."
She giggled a little and put in a couple of tokens to start the game. “Ready.”
He let out a faint breath, smiling a little. "Let's go."
She smiled back at him and quickly kissed his cheek before the game started.
He smiled a little, before returning his attention to the game.
She giggled lightly as she watched the screen, ready to try to beat the high score this time.
He smiled a little as they played.
She laughed a little and studied the game so they could play it together.
He smiled again, waiting for instruction from her.
“This game is mostly strategy-based.” she told him. “You get bonus points for dropping a rock on multiple enemies at the same time. So we'll have to time it right.” she smiled.
"Ah, all right. Well, just tell me what to do and I'll do it." He laughed quietly.
“I will.” she nodded, chuckling slightly as she helped steer their character. “Dig here.”
