“Sure.” she agreed, waving over the waiter.
The Hero shows up at the Villain's doorstep one night // One on One // CLOSED
She smiled, pulling out her wallet.
“Ready for the check?” he asked, pulling out their bill. “Or would you like to order some dessert tonight?”
“Just the check, thank you.” Sophie smiled politely as she took out her wallet as well.
"Split it, please?" Raven spoke up.
“Oh, ok.” the waiter nodded, pulling out a second piece of paper and divided the bill. “Here you are, miss.” he said politely as he handed them their respective papers.
“Thank you.” Sophie smiled softly.
"Thank you." Raven said as well, getting out her credit card to pay with.
The waiter nodded and accepted both cards with the bills, as Sophie paid with her card as well. “I’ll be right back with these.”
"Alright, thanks." She said.
Sophie sighed, sitting back in her seat and finishing off her water… though there wasn't much left.
She smiled over s Sophie.
Sophie swallowed an ice cube and smiled back.
She hummed for a moment, still smiling over at the other woman.
Sophie raised a brow slightly at the hum as she started gathering up the dishes and silverware into an organized pile.
She helped, attention turning to the dishes.
“Thanks.” Sophie smiled.
She smiled back.
Sophie blushed a little but finished the little task.
She ran a hand through her hair, letting out a quiet breath.
Sophie leaned back in her seat again and quietly watched her as they waited for the waiter to come back.
Once the waiter returned, Raven took her receipt and put her card back into her wallet.
“Thank you.” Sophie smiled politely as she accepted her card and bill for the night.
“Have a nice night, ladies.” the waiter nodded back as Sophie stood up.
Raven stood, waiting for Sophie so they could head out the door.
Sophie smiled and walked towards the door with Raven, holding it open for the other woman.
Raven smiled. "Thanks."
“Of course.” Sophie smiled back.
"So, the park?"
Sophie nodded, her eyes almost sparkling as they exited the restaurant. “It’s over this way.” she said as she took Raven by the hand and started walking.
Raven smiled, walking with Sophie.
Sophie smiled back, giving Raven’s hand a gentle squeeze.
Raven returned the squeeze, smiling.
