Killian nodded. "Yeah, makes sense." He replied. He took another bite of food.

”I’m glad you like this place.” She smiled, a little shyly not knowing what else to say.
Killian grinned at her. "Mhm. Me too."
Jade smiled back and continued to eat her food.

Killian looked around again, then back at Jade. "So. What are we doing after this?" he asked, raising his eyebrows and taking another bite of food.
(Don't worry about it. Mine was pretty short too)
Jade hummed thoughtfully. ”I'm not sure. Honestly, I didn't really have any plans for today except fine-tuning a few things and keeping an ear out for any emergencies at work.” she hinted, fairly sure he’d understand the phrase. ”Did you have something in mind?”
Killian nodded a little. "Alright. And no, i didn't." he replied with a laugh.
Jade chuckled with him as she tried to think of something else that they could do together. It may have been selfish of her but she wanted this feeling she had when she was with him to last a while longer. And something told her that he wasn't ready for her to take him home just yet.
(I’m open to any suggestions on what to do next… I may have an idea for later but it would have to be after a time skip.)

Killian watched her for a long moment, then sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Whatcha thinking about?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Jade shrugged. ”Just… trying to figure out what you and Sparky were talking about. I have a hard time dropping something like that. Especially when it seemed to bother you so much.” she admitted.
Killian blinked. "Oh. It's uhm…it's nothing important." he stammered quickly, shaking his head a little.
Jade raised a brow at his stutter. ”Maybe not but it’s still affecting you.” she pointed out gently. ”If he offended you then I’m sorry.”
"No, he didn't offend me. Just took me by surprise. Don't worry about it." Killian said quickly.
She nodded. ”Well, that's good at least. How did he surprise you?” Jade asked, far too curious to not think about it.
Killian sighed, and raked a hand through his hair. "He just did."
Jade gazed thoughtfully at him. ”Did he say something that embarrassed you? Is that why you won't talk about it?”
"Yes." Killian replied. Better she think that than what actually happened. She doesn't need to know what he said. About…us.
Jade nodded, humming thoughtfully. ”I see. I’m sorry about that.” she smiled slightly. ”It must have been pretty bad. You're blushing.”
Killian touched his cheeks, and wrinkled his nose at her. "Shush." He replied grumpily.
Jade laughed softly at both his tone and the cute way he wrinkled his nose. ”Jeez, it must have been really bad to get this kind of reaction out of you.”
"Wasn't that bad." he mumbled. "Just took me by surprise." he tossed his head, avoiding her eyes.
”So you said.” Jade nodded, still smiling. ”Is it something I need to talk to him about?”
"Nope." Killian said quickly. "Nothing, you're fine." It was quite obvious that he was a bit flustered and bothered by it.
