The drive made Xio a little giddy and a lot relaxed. She leaned her body back into the seat, stretching out her arms. Once arrived at her place, she leaned over to kiss Kai’s cheek, unbuckling. “I might keep them on for juuust a bit longer. They’ll keep me thinking of you.”
'Feel free to keep them, I'm not gonna wear them again, especially the pants." Kai chuckled, adjusting the beanie on his head, "Now go, we're gonna be late if you don't hurry."

She giggled, nodding. “Thank you. And alright alright. I’m going.” Xio slid out of the car and hurried into the house. Milo greeted her with a soft meow. As she collected her things and slung her bag over her shoulders, she fed the cat. Once that had been done, she hurried back out to the car, humming happily and once again kissing Kai’s cheek when she placed herself in the passenger seat.
"You're very affectionate this morning." Kai commented as he set off once the Xio was back in the car. Not that he minded her being a little extra this morning, it just made him blush a little every time she did something like that. I guess that's what happens when you've never had someone be affection towards you in that manner before.

“I can’t help it. I’m so happy!” She purred, giggling. Her face was a soft pink, she herself embarrassed by the amount of affection she was showing. She didn’t want to come off as clingy or overpowering. “You make me happy.” She added after, watching his expression carefully. She took a deep breath, humming happily at the thought that she could have his comforting scent throughout the whole day. “I want us to work so bad it hurts me, and yet it’s going so good I don’t know why I worried!”
Kai flushed a little more, "I feel the same way. I've never done something like this in a very long time and then again it's never been serious so I apologise in advance more any mistakes." He frowned a little at a sudden thought but pushed it away and replaced it with a soft smile instead. He didn't need any negativity ruining today.

Her hand found his arm in a comforting action. “You don’t need to appologize… we all make mistakes.” Her eyes softened, a bright glitter behind them. “Just know I’m extremely serious about you.”
Kai placed one hand on top of hers and gave it a small squeeze, "I'm serious about you, too. I don't think I could live with myself if I lost you…" He sighed softly and turned his attention back to the road.

“I’d never be able to date anyone else if I were to lose you.” She murmured, letting her eyes slip closed. “You’re amazing, you’re a perfect person in my eyes. Even if you say you have flaws.” She purred, letting her body settle into the seat. “And of course you’re never going to lose me. Who else is going to protect you from that big bad bully?” She teased, a smile pulling at her lips.
Kai shook his head with a small smile, a soft sigh escaping him a moment later. Gosh darn it she was right about that one, "Well lucky for you, you're not gonna lose me so you don't have to worry about other people. And yeah, no one else is going to protect me from that asshole."

“I love you Kai~“ she replied, looking lovingly over at him. “You’re the first boy who’s promised to let me protect him. And the first to promise you won’t leave me for some dumb mistake. I love you so much it almost hurts.” Xio cooed, squirming in her seat slightly out of happiness and excitement. But she also secretly frowned. Marx would threaten he would leave if she did something wrong.
"I love you too," Even though Kai couldn't look over a her, his eyes were shining brightly and his had a love sick gin on his face. A soft, small white heart of snow drifted and landed in her lap, "You are the sweetest, yet also craziest person I've ever met. I don't think you could do anything wrong in my eyes, even if you left me I wouldn't blame you. You are my… miracle. The stars sent me a miracle."

She giggled at the snow, looking over at her boyfriend. He was so cute. “You’re my miracle too.” Xio murmured, leaning over to kiss his cheek sweetly. “Stay with me, Alright? You’re not allowed to leave.” She joked, turning her attention back to the view outside. A large grin snuck its way onto her face. “You’re perfect for me…”
Kai's smile grew, the affection from Xio making his heart almost burst out of his chest, "I won't, promise." He took one hand off the wheel and held his pinky finger for her to take, sealing the promise.

Xio took his pinky in hers, giggling. “I promise I won’t leave either. And you can’t break a pinky promise. That’s a sin.” She huffed, grinning at him. She stated lovingly at him for a few silent moments, taking in his features. She really enjoyed his messy hair and attractive eyes framed by those glasses.
Kai hummed quickly to no random tune as the car pulled into the school’s parking lot. The tune faded and a look of panic washed over his face. No matter who he was with or what he felt at the time, school would always make him panic and want to run away. He cursed himself for it.

Xio placed a hand on his arm, biting her lip at the panicked look. “Are you alright Kai?” She asked softly, kissing his cheek lovingly. “I’m right here if you need someone.” She added in a hushed tone, eyes soft and kind. “I’m always going to be right here.”
Kai nodded a little, forcing himself to put on a smile, "I know, thank-you," He whispered, giving her hand a small squeeze. He could do it, for her if not for himself. He unbuckled his seat belt and climbed out, throwing his bag over his shoulder.

Xio hummed. She, too, hopped out once the car had been turned off. Her bag was thrown over her shoulders with a soft groan. “Time to go back to hell.” She commented with a small grin.
Kai chuckled softly, though it was half hearted as he took her hand in his once he was next to her, "Yeah, time to go back to hell." He gave her hand a small squeeze as they walked into the school.

Xio’s mood seemed upbeat this morning. She hummed a small tune to herself as they walked, her thumb gently rubbing his hand in a loving manner. The girl was nearly brimming with excitement over having Kai as her’s. She didn’t care what the others would say, she wasn’t very popular anyways and didn’t wish to be. She just wanted Kai all to herself, as selfish as that sounded, so she could show him how loved and amazing he was.
She bumped shoulders with him, kissing his cheek softly. “What classes do you have, Baby?” She asked softly, smiling up at him. “Anything fun?”
As they had been walking in, even though Xio might not have noticed, but Kai definitely noticed the strange looks they received and the whispers that went along with it. Most were directed towards himself, a couple about her. Xio snapped him out of his quickly spiraling thoughts, "Hm? Oh, uh, no, nothing interesting. I mean, I have music that's kinda fun."

Xio caught a few glanced but didn’t seem to care in the least. She stood taller, almost daring them to do anything about it. As if to spite a few of the whispers, she leaned over to kiss his cheek. “Music is fun. Do you practice piano? Guitar?”
Kai flushed red and watched out the corner of his eye a few people walk away He relaxed just slightly and scratched the back of his neck, "Uh, depends. Sometimes it's piano, sometimes it's guitar. It's my last lesson today so you could meet me there after school?"

She tilted her head, smiling from ear-to-ear. “I’ll be there! It’s the perfect place to meet.” She cooed, glancing around at the other teenagers in her school. She used to care a lot about what they thought of her. There was even one point where she wouldn’t even go to school without her make up and good clothes. But now she was with Kai she didn’t mind as much. She could stand out in the open without makeup or done-up hair and feel just as beautiful. It made her giddy just thinking about it. “Hey, if you run into that bully again, please let me know.”
Kai nodded, pressing a quick kiss to her cheek, "Yeah, I will, don't worry." He offer her a half smile, pushing his glasses up his nose. He wouldn't tell her, though he was sure Xio would find out about it eventually. He didn't want to worry her more then he probably already was.

“Thank you.” She breathed a sigh of relief, resting her head on his shoulder as they walked. If anyone dared to touch Kai she would murder them in cold blood. He was too precious for this world, for the people in the world. He deserved a life filled with happiness and love. “I love you, my wonderful boyfriend.”
Kai's heart fluttered at the words, and he knew if he got over excited it might start snowing in the hallway. Xio was too amazing to him, end of story. No one and nothing would change his mind from that fact, "I love you more my amazing girlfriend."

Her soft eyes were loving and bright. Xio couldn’t say when she had last been this happy then when she was with Kai. She gently rubbed her thumb over his hand, smiling. “Mm, I would say no to that, but I think you proved yourself.” She teased, blushing softly as she laughed. “And I’m looking forwards to the time when we can bond even more.”
Xio paused and planted a few quick kisses to his cheek and forehead. “Thank you for loving me the right way…” she murmured, pausing to pull him into a hug.
Kai hugged her back tightly, holding on to her as if she was just a vision and she was going to disappear at any point. He didn't think he'd even be here right now if it wasn't for Xio. He knew he had a long way to go in fixing himself, but at least now he had Xio to help him though everything and he;d do everything he could to keep her safe and happy.
"Thank-you for giving me a chance…" He muttered.
