The making of a villain (Closed) (O×O)

Every child dreams of waking up with super powers, but what happens when they do?
The government quickly wisks them away, replacing them with genetically engineered children.
The children with powers are raised as spys, assassins, kept in secret untill their dying days. 
The rouges are put down or imprisoned for the rest of their lives. After all, there's no use for a weapon that doesn't work.

It is not uncommon for children to have more then one power, so long as they don't stay to far in range. (Ex. Controlling Fire and carting fire.)

HI HELLO GREETINGS! This will be romance because I'm trash. M×F I have a female character so if you could role the male, thank you. My Character will also be the one becoming the villain. So, fun times.

Okay, so are both of our charries already weaponized by the government, or what particular plot did you have in mind? Love the little blurb you have so far, by the way. ^-^ And I'm a sucker for heroes/villains. :P

I'm going to say mine is, but whether you want yours to be yet or not it totally up to you. As far as plot goes, I don't have much in mind for it. Maybe if you want we could start with yours getting brought in?
I'm also a sucker for hero/villain stuff. Lol.

Okay, that sounds like a good plan to me. Now, do you have any personality preferences? Like, if you have an idea in mind for yours, do you have an idea of a good pairing mine could be? Like, a soft boi, an angry boi, an overprotective boi, a funny boi, a serious boi, etc. etc. You know, tropes (except I generally twist tropes a little to my own preferences).

I'd say the Gal I'll be using is a bit reckless, so maybe a more protective boy? But you can really do whatever you want. If you want them to match a bit better though, I could post her temp so you know what you're working with.

Here's my gal,

Name- Mavi Crow
Nickname- Crown Vetch
Gender- Female
Age- (18-20) 19
Power- plant manipulation, and Crown vetch poison (hence the nick name. Crown vetch is a poisonous plant that lets off a fume that makes anyone who inhales it dizzy)
Rules of their power- Mavi can make giant vines grow from the earth and control them. She can also accelerate other plants growth. As for the poison, it leaks from her skin depending on her mood. But if to much is used the effects reverse on her, making her dizzy. And in extreme cases, can make her feel like she's burning from the inside out.
Control over power?- yes/no plant manipulation, yes. Poison, not so much.
How much control do they have- (1-10) (explain) A 5. While plants are easy to her, larger ones can prove difficult. As for the poison she can lose control depending on her mood.
weakness- cats, they distract her very easily, and fire. (The heat can burn her poison from the air and render her plants useless)
Fears- cramped spaces, losing the only family she has left (an older brother)
Strangths- long distance fighting, agility, and flexibility. (Even though she hates tight spaces she can still get into them.) She also has a pretty good knowledge of poisonous plants.
Looks- Mavi has long Honey blond hair that reaches down to her mid-back. She's 5'8 and weighs about 170 pounds, she has a bit of an should glass shape. (but not to much) she has Forrest green eyes, and olive skin. There is a small scar on the bridge of her nose where it broke when she was younger.
Clothing- she usually opts for purples and greens when it comes to shirts, or just plain old "save the planet" logo T-shirts. Mavi basically lives in shorts, unless of course its winter or she's on a job.
Personality- Mavi is a genuinely sweet person, but is fed up with everyone 99% of the time. She likes to do things her own way, and isn't a team player unless there's no other option. Most of the time she'd rather be tending to her unholy amount of plants, or be outside with her brother. She is reckless, which usually leads to over use of her powers and extreme pain. Her recklessness only grows when things are at high stakes.
Other- has an older brother, his power is mind manipulation.

So sorry! I've been a tad bit preoccupied with Good Friday. There's a chance I won't be on much until Monday, what with Easter and all, but I'll see if I can get the template up soon anyhow so that you can see it.

Power- Kinetic Absorption
Rules of their power- He absorbs kinetic energies and can redirect said energy into different things. For example, if someone hits or punches him, he is able to absorb the energy from the punch and redirect it, allowing him to shoot short bursts of energy at people or even energize object and cause them to combust. Since a small amount of kinetic energy is created even through simple movements, he is almost always energized to some extent, but he requires more force to generate larger amounts.
Control over power?- yes/no Mostly.
How much control do they have- (1-10) (explain) He can become overloaded if too much energy is absorbed at one time without being released, and if too much is absorbed he may unintentionally release it or pass out. It can physically harm him if he's overloaded, and overuse of his powers leads to extreme fatigue and discombobulation.
Weakness- He can't swim; he's very arachnophobia.
Fears- Being powerless or controlled; failing himself and others; being considered incompetent
Strengths- He knows multiple fighting styles and is fairly good with hand-to-hand combat. He is also good with throwing knives, which he has been known to charge with energy before launching them at his opponents.
Looks- 6'3" || Broad-ish shoulders || Well-muscled || Average-width hips for a man || Fair skin || Jet black, wavy hair || Dark blue-gray eyes ||
Clothing- He generally wears a sleeveless shirt with a long black trench coat over it. Black combat pants and thick black combat boots. Fingerless gloves and a necklace with a locket on it that belonged to his deceased mother. He usually wears glasses.
Personality- He can come across as dry and serious, but he's got a good heart and a light sense of dry humor that comes out every once in awhile. He prides himself on his fighting abilities and his intelligence. He's protective of those who are close to him and can come across as unintentionally controlling at times due to his desperation to keep them safe. He's bad at expressing his emotions, but he feels them deeply.
Other- Please let me know if this is unacceptable. If you want me to make him less experienced I can easily do so. As I'm finishing I realize that maybe he shouldn't be as skilled in anything if he's supposedly just now supposed to be brought in, so do you think I should change this? ^-^

he's perfect! I feel like even if he is being just barely brought in he should still have some fighting skills. Hand to hand combat can easily be explained if he took self defense classes when he was younger. Beside the knife throwing is actually really cool, and he can further develop those skills once he's been brought in.

Seventeen years ago, the Crow family had mysteriously disappeared. A few years later two bodies had been found, dental records ruling them the bodies of the parents. But the children where never found, at least that's what the government would have the world believe.
When the children had been found they showed strange abilities, that most would have been confused by. But the government knew full well that the kids fell into the small part of the population that where born with powers. And what luck that they where deemed dead after their parents bodies where found? No clones needed. But to this day, the death of the Crow parents would always be a mystery.

Mavi Crow skipped down the bland halls of the government facility she'd grown up in. A few minutes ago a call had been sent for her. She had a retrieval mission, details would be given to her by the man who worked over their section.
Mavi pushed open the doors to his office grinning. "You guys missed someone," she couldn't help but rub it in his face. Letting a child with powers grow up with the rest of society wasn't common. "How'd that happen."
He didn't answer her question, "kinetic energy. Don't use force." His words where stern, of course he would treat her like a child. "Fine, see you in a few hours." With that she left his office to find her target.

(Heckin' good starter. Alright so realistically would Soren just be going around a daily routine of sorts, or where would he likely be? Sorry to ask so many questions; just double checking before I reply)

Her target– Soren Sacheverell– had tried to make himself look at least a bit normal, so as to not stand out for his abilities. Thankfully, his powers were fairly easy to hide, as people generally didn't run up and punch him out of the blue to see whether or not he could absorb energy from the blow. But that didn't mean he wasn't leery, ever watchful of his surroundings.
Today, as he sat in a near-vacant cafe on the edge of the city, idly watching the news on the television on the wall, he looked no different than any other young working male. He could've passed for an intern of some sort, what with the collared shirt tucked into his belt, the ironed pants, and his dark hair fixed nicely (or at least, it had been fixed nicely when he left this morning; it was rather tousled and unruly by now). He hated dressing like this, no doubt, but at least it didn't appear overly suspicious. He'd rather dress in a way that aggravated him and not draw attention to himself rather than look like a full-blown vigilante from some comic book and have every eye drawn his way.

(Sorry for such a big delay in responses! I wasn't sure what would be best so I just came up with something out-of-the-blue.)

Tracking down Soren hadn't been nearly as hard as Mavi thought it would be. The team she had been working with (against her wishes) had a seerer. All they needed was a name and the search began and ended all with in a few minutes.
"This seat taken?" Mavi didn't wait for his response as she slid onto the bench. Using her poison is a public place was never a smart idea, especially without a mask- but if force was out of the question, Consequences be darned. The poison started its way in the air, Mavi making sure to focus it words Soren. "I'm Mavi." There wasn't much harm in small talk while she waited for its effects to take hold. Only the fact that if she breathed it in they'd be in the same boat. But that didn't worry her. "And you are?" She folded her hands neatly in front of herself.

Soren frowned skeptically, narrowing his eyes slightly at the stranger who had invited herself into his personal space. "Lawrence," he lied casually. He wasn't able to detect the poison in the air, but his head seemed lighter and there was something off about everything— something he couldn't quite put his finger on. Perhaps it was the fact that his vision was starting to get a little blurrier, or that his thoughts were growing less coherent.
He managed a glance down at the coffee in his hand, setting it down on the table between them. On some subconscious level, he knew this stranger had done something to him, but he couldn't think straight enough to react or even fully comprehend his situation.
"If you'll— excuse me—" he slurred, bracing a hand against the table in an attempt to stand. What did he plan to do? Run? He wasn't really sure, but apparently it didn't matter. He couldn't even find the strength to stand upright. His hand slid across the table's slick surface before he'd even got to his feet, and he slumped back into his seat, his elbow knocking his coffee mug over and spilling to dark liquid across the table.

Mavi only smiled as she watched the poison take effect. "Jeez Lawrence,you don't look so hot. Are you feeling okay?" She faked the concern into her voice, casually sliding from her seat, dodging the coffee that had been spilled everywhere. "Here let me help you."
(Little bit of character control here. Lemme know if you're not chill with it.)
She pulled him up, lacing an arm over her shoulder. Mavi wasn't the strongest, but she'd manage. Hopefully. she gave the coffee shop owner a sheepish smile. "Not even all the coffee in the world could keep him awake after the all nighters he's pulled. I'll be right back to pay." She most certainly would not, be back.
The Vehicle she'd used to get there wasn't the biggest. What was important was that it wasn't suspicious. Well as inauspicious as a car that was literary getting a guy dumped in it could be. "Heavens Above you're heavy." Retrieval missions had always been her thing, but honestly, couldn't they have gotten someone a bit stronger?
"Listen here, you're gonna take a few deep breaths and the poison will eventually clear out. I'm not gonna hurt you, and you're not gonna hurt me. What I'm doing is for your own safety." Keeping up the poison while driving would only result in disaster.

Though Soren never fully lost consciousness, he became as useless as someone who had. His mind was foggy, his thoughts blurred to the point that he wasn't sure what his body was doing. On some level, he detected the movement, heard her words— distant, yet discernible. Maybe his mind tried to form a response, but it never made it to his lips.
But, as promised by her distant, distorted voice, the fuzziness began to fade quickly once the poison was out of the air. He sucked in several breaths, a headache pounding in his skull. He found himself lying in the backseat of her car, feeling stiff— almost as if he were hungover, except he hadn't drank any alcohol. "Who— What—" He stumbled over the confusion in his mind left by the poison and tripped over what question he needed to ask first. He didn't sound remotely panicked, but he did sound a bit stoned as he asked, "Who are you?"

(Heads up, I'm gonna be super spotty for the next few months)

Mavi considered his question for a few moments. She didn't have to answer him, after all she wasn't yo sure she'd ever see much of him. Despite that she answered any way. "Someone a lot like you."
She threw a smile at him. In all honesty it was true. They both had powers that couldn't be explained.
Mavi twisted the key, starting the car up and pulled out of the parking spot. The drive back wouldn't necessarily be short. Because she wasn't able to use her poison while driving, she'd have to at least drive around a bit to confuse Soren.
There had been the option of blind folding him back when her poison still had its hold on him- but Mavi hadn't wanted to risk if he had energy saved up or not. A fight out in the open wouldn't have been good news. It would have been to hard for the government to cover up.

(No worries. I'm super spotty indefinitely, it seems, so I completely understand.)

Soren squinted skeptically, shifting uncomfortably in the backseat. The fuzziness in his brain had finally faded enough for him to think clearer, though his confusion still remained. "What's that supposed to mean?" He had his guesses, but he preferred clarification if that were an option. He grunted a bit as he straightened himself, rubbing his face. "And what did you do to me?"

Mavi smiled, ignoring his question and asking one of her own, "So when was the first time you knew?" Her eyes flickered to the mirror.
For Mavi Crow she'd first discovered her powers the day of her parents deaths. Of course she couldn't remember it, but her brother often told her of how small plants grew around her, and poison filled the air. Back then those powers weren't as strong. Bit the shock was still there.

"About your strange abilities that is. You send someone flying backwards or something? Kill someone?"
