"We'd better walk back to the hotel, what do you think?", Isaac asked her. He rubbed her back to warm her a little.

"That's a good plan," she agreed softly.
He took her hand and started walking back to the hotel. It was chilly, but nice out. The stars shone above them.
Robin followed him, enchanted by the nighttime sky despite how cold she felt. When the sun went down, the chill set in almost instantly.
"I remember getting up early in the morning with my… best friend and watching the perseids.", he said thoughtfully, breaking the silence.
She noticed that he'd hesitated a bit, but she didn't address it. "That sounds amazing," she murmured.
"It was…" He drifted off, looking sad. "Did you ever lose someone close to you?"
Robin pressed her lips together and swallowed. "I have, yes."
"Who was it?" He was aware that he was prying, but he wanted to know. Maybe she'd understand him.
She blinked and looked down. "My brother."
He hugged her. "I'm sorry. I'll be okay."
She curled into his chest and found comfort. "Did you loose your best friend?" she asked quietly.
"Yes. He was more than a friend… You've helped me get over him, but I'll never forget him."
"I-I have?" she asked softly.
"Yes. I love you like I've loved him.", he whispered into the darkness. The sound of the waves was calming.
Like a friend… But he kissed you! Thoughts dueled in Robin's mind, but she kept a calm outward appearance. "Oh… That's good, I assume?"
He shied away, his cheeks pink. "Y-yeah." She had to have figured it out.
Robin's innocent eyes blinked, then she realized what he meant. "You- oh…" She looked down. Was she supposed to know? Was it supposed to be that easy to figure out?
Had she figured him out yet? "What do you think of me?", he asked, testing the waters.
"I think…" She thought for a moment, pressing her lips together. She always pressed her lips together when she was thinking hard about something. It was a habit of hers. "I think that you're still a wonderful person, Isaac," she answered slowly, gazing into his face.
