The Most Wanted Woman in Town [Romance o/o] (Closed)

Eve shook her head. "Honestly. If you want to know what my first thought really was…" She hesitated. "You're different."

(IM SORRY BUT STREW WOULD PROBABLY CANNONLY DRIVE HER LAWNMOWER TO THE STORE.. Just think about that)

"That could still be bad.. Different how?" She questioned, deciding if she should be surprised, disappointed or just expecting it.

"Different as in… I don't think I've ever met anyone like you before," she answered honestly.

"I've never seen a demon in town before either" She said, cluelessly.

Eve shook her head. "That isn't entirely what I meant. It wasn't just your appearance. It was… your whole demeanor."

"Yeah.. A demon that doesn't kill everyone they see is a strange sight I guess. When I first saw you, I just felt bad for you. I can't imagine the hell you go through every day" She responded, looking to the side.

Eve lowered her eyes. "I never thought my life would come to this. Afraid to go out in public because…" Tentatively, she looked back over at the men. The four of them were still staring at her. She quickly looked away again. "Because of people like them," she finished. "That's why I have to take the attention away from me, somewhat."

"Man.. I hate men.. Except for,, yknow what nevermind. Anyways, I- uhm, It's gross. I'm about to suck their souls out" She joked at the end, reverting attention away from her struggle of speech.

Eve's eyes widened. "You're… You're not going to, are you? I mean, I don't like them any more than you do, but…"

"Nahh, of course I wouldn't. I don't even know if I could if I wanted to. And I kinda plan on never knowing, cause I'm hoping I never have to try" She admitted, trying to slightly calm Eve down.

Eve breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. "Thank you. I'm quite glad to hear that you've never even tried."

"It's kinda pointless. Why would I want their souls?" She questioned, looking back at Eve.

"I don't know," she quipped thoughtfully. "I've never needed a soul before." Because technically, I have two.

"My soul is enough for me. I could live my entire life without anymore" She responded,
"And well, I can't really see you needing a soul. Especially considering neither of us know how they work" Continued Strew.

"Very true," Eve murmured. "I suppose I should be going soon. I have my plants to tend to and people to avoid."

"Me to.. but I don't have many plants. I can barely take care of myself." She watched Eve get up.

Eve chuckled. "Well, that's alright. My plants are my vice. I care for them, which cares for me. I'll see you later?" She wiggled her fingers in a wave and left. Immediately, the four men in the corner who had been staring at Eve the entire duration of her stay all stood up and headed toward the door to follow her.

She glared at them, mumbling under her breath. (Bro yandere moment /hj)

"Eve! A minute!" one of them called out to her.

"No, sir," Eve replied, not stopping.

"Please, Eve!" another one called.

Eve turned on her heel. "If you'd like a chance with me, you'll have to get the key to my house from my cat. Until then, buzz off!" She turned and left.

With the news out, it spread around the town like wildfire.

Strew asked her self why the heck she would do that on a minute-ly basis.

Moments after Eve disappeared, a black cat strolled through the town.

"There it is!"

"The cat!"

"The key!"

The cat was soon being chased around the town. Its eyes flashed with fear, but no matter how hard the people tried, no one could catch her.

"Huh.. Maybe Bladee could help. Him or Lalue. They aren't fond earth cats. Or other cats in general. But this is.. weird" Strew muttered to herself. Watching the chaos.

The black cat darted down an alley and hid inside a dumpster until the horde of people looking for her disbanded.

In the dark she was punted on the head by something, not that hard and only caused a little sting
"HEY WATCH IT"

The cat leapt out and padded further down the alley where no one would see her.

A sphynx with a red Mohawk (why yes I am great at character design why'd u ask) pops her head out
"Hmm you seem new, get your own can.. Oh heyy, Bladee told me about a cat like you, welcome to the alleys. Good luck staying out of the claws of other ferals babe"

The cat's wide eyes studied the creature, and she tilted her head curiously.

"Pft, don't die hon" She sarcastically remarked and hopped out to face her

The cat slowly backtracked, her wide eyes and sleek fur making her stick out as a domestic feline.

"Got an owner? You should run back to them before I make you unable t-" She is cut off by the cat you recognize as Bladee coming from the shadows and confronting the cat verbally attacking Eve..
"Cmon Lalue, what happened to 'happiness' and 'we can make them happpy'?" He responded to Lalue's outrage amused.
"Not my fault she woke me up" She mumbled in response.
