( Hey there, writer! Welcome to this roleplay. In this roleplay, I'd like for the story to be based at a city near a beach. Character A and Character B would meet somewhere at that beach, and unexpectedly, FALL IN LOVE! )

( If you'd like to join up, please describe your character. That's all I need. After that, I'll start us off, and we'll be set! Remember these rules.)

( Greetings! :) So shocked that someone found this so fast- )

(I'm bored at school and I've been stalking Notebook lol)

( The same. I'm actually about to have to change classes, haha. So all I'll need is a character description, then I guess we can jump on in! )

(Same as well lol. Is there any kind of character relationship dynamic you're looking for? I'll probably be using Cas or Nathaniel, either of which I can provide drawings I've made)

( I'd love to see something like a 'oh I thought we would just be friends, but I think I'm falling in love with you-' kind of thing coming from them, if either of them have that kind of personality. )

(He's five feet tall exactly (which I probably should've included in his reference but-) and is kind of a sassy bitch boy, but also wants cuddles and hates feelings. Kind of the personality of a chihuahua in the way that he is tiny, but still thinks he could fight you. But if you actually try to fight him, he's like "oh shIT-")

( That's honestly such a clicker for Sorrel- He's like 6'2'' and he's obsessed with short little people, haha. He's super sweet and literally way too compassionate. He's all about being right, honestly, and he's obsessed with the cutest things. He'd fight anyone that wants to hurt his friends, lol. )

( So- would you like to just go for it? I guess we have some form of an idea what we'll be doing already. )

(Yes, I love him, let's get into it :D do you want to go ahead and write a starter? Also, Cas can't swim, so I could always throw that in to help you out lol. He also loves cats, has an emotional support/service cat named Nix, and is terrified of dogs)

Sorrel strolled down the beach. The waves crashed onto the shoreline, and lapped at his feet. "Such a bright and shining day, today." He whispered. He then looked out towards the sea, and noticed a boat, far away. "I wonder why they like being so lonely, out there. Oh, silly me, there must be a group of people on it." He rambled. He shook his head, and went on a little bit further into the water.

( I hope this works! )

(Yep! What age are we in this, btw? Cas is technically 15, usually, but I'm always flexible)
Cas watched a tall boy walk down the beach in his general direction. Nix was curled up in his lap, not wanting any stray grains of sand to get themselves caught in his long, black fur. Cas was humming something softly to himself and just enjoying the sun. He didn't want to be caught staring at the newcomer, so he just stole glances out of the corner of his eye.

( Sorrel's 19 right now, but I'll drop it to 17 to make it more normal, haha. )

Sorrel slowly began to dance, by himself. Joy overtook him, and he just bounded around. He jumped, stepped, and he began to spin. The wind sent a breeze towards him, and his hair gently seemed to float in the air. "Woo~" He said, softly, before slowing himself down. He noticed someone, just over here by himself. "Oh-" He said, as a blush caught him off-guard. "I hope he didn't notice that- aaah-" He squeaked, with slight embarrassment.

(Alrighty lol)
Cas watched him curiously, a light blush rising to his pale cheeks as well. Nix didn't seem to care much; the heat was making him sleepy anyways. He heard Sorrel say something, but he couldn't make it out from this far away. After a few seconds of hesitation, he waved awkwardly to Sorrel.

"What am I supposed to do- he waved at me-" Sorrel thought. "Does he want to talk to me, uh, does he not want interaction?" Sorrel rambled further. He put on his 'brave face' and began making his way over to the person. "I might as well say something, we've already made eye contact-" He reasoned.

"Er… Hello." Cas said awkwardly. He honestly hadn't planned this far ahead and didn't know what to say. Nix finally bothered to lift his head and trained his icy blue eyes onto Sorrel, his tail flicking calmly.

"Hi- I was wondering if you saw any of that awkward dancing?" Sorrel said, rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh, how rude of me, I didn't even introduce myself- I'm Sorrel, yeah," Sorrel stated. He felt so eccentric, and hoped it didn't mess up his introduction. Sorrel looked at Cas's cat. "Aww." He muttered, more to himself than to the world.

( At school, got lunch, won't be responding for maybe 22 minutes. )

(Alrighty, I'll be leaving for lunch in about 20 minutes and will be back in about 20 minutes after)
"You're not bad at dancing." He chuckled softly. "My name is Cas. Well… Casper, technically, but no one calls me that…" Cas followed Sorrel's gaze to Nix and smiled. "This is Nix. You can pet him if you'd like; he's nice."

Sorrel reached out kindly to Nix, and gently stroked his fur. "Cas and Nix, huh? Such interesting names, such intriguing people to meet out here." He whispered. "Well, I only dance on my best days, and today's an all time high, I'd say." Sorrel replied to his compliment, unsure if his sudden increase in warmth was from his cheeks or the sunlight beating down.

Nix purred softly, pushing his head up into Sorrel's hand. "We're really not all that special… well, I'm not. Nix is pretty cool." He stroked Nix's back softly. "I'm glad it's a good day for you. Any particular reason why?" He asked.

"Dude, you're actually kind of cool. Like, I'm not sure how to describe it, but I feel like you've actually got something special." Sorrel complained. He bent down and ruffled Cas's hair. "Nix, you're cool too, you know." Sorrel told the cat. "But I really don't know. I guess it's just the way I woke up. I woke up, and I smiled, you know?" Sorrel said, with a laugh. "Sorry, I'm crazy." He added.

Cas blushed a bit, leaving his hair disheveled like Sorrel had left it. Nix rubbed up against his chest to try and calm him down, sensing his racing heart. "Er… thanks, I guess. And don't worry about it, I like crazy." He smiled softly.

Sorrel laughed. "Well, you'll get a heck lot of it here!" He admitted. "What brought you to the beach, Cas?" Sorrel asked Cas, as he kind of sat on the sand beside him.
