"Oh, you know how I hate smoothies, don't you? Yes, we should go!" Sammy was feeling slaphappy, but without having the effect of tiredness.
She stuck her tongue out at him. "Make up your mind!" she teased before driving off out of the school parking lot. "You want to go to the one on Main Street or the one outside the movie theater?"
"Hmm…how 'bout the movie theater? We could maybe watch something afterward." Sammy grinned. "What flavor do you think you'll get this time?"
Gracie turned out of the school so they were heading to the movie theater and thought about his question. "Hmm… I don't know. Victory strawberry is sounding pretty good to me," she answered, glancing over at him for a split second to grin then put her eyes back on the road.
"I think Mango Pina Colada is calling to me." Sammy sighed.
"We worked hard today-I'm sure we're ready for the game."
