Nishida had been alone in the dark for a long, long time.
She knew where she was, but she'd forgotten why she was there. Why she'd been put there.
The chains wrapped around her body had long since rusted, leaving her completely immobile, instead of the half-movements she used to be able to make. She'd tried to break them, but she'd only succeeded in warping the metal.
She'd given up after that.
Now, though, she had hope, because the sealed entrance to the cave had just given off a low rumble, as though someone were trying to get in.
She'd been hearing tapping for god knows how long, as of metal against stone, but didn't think too much of it.
She watches the entrance as best she can.

Aphrodite had always been a curious girl. She did a lot of exploring, hiking and more. She preferred staying away from people, so being on the move 24/7 worked perfectly for her. However, one day she learned about this woman who had been locked away many years ago. She of course, got curious again. She decided to go see this for herself.
As she made her way to the cave where the woman was kept, she saw that the entrance was blocked. She huffs softly. She wasn’t going to give up now! She began working her way into the cave. Eventually, she was able to break her way through it and push past the rest of the rock.
She stared in shock as her gaze landed on the chained up woman. It was true…her eyes glance at the sword by the woman’s side. It looked to be buried in the ground slightly. She looks back at the girl and steps forward. Was she dead…? Aphrodite couldn’t really tell. She remembered she had a voice, “Hello…?”

Nishida looks up and smiles.
"食べ物はありますか？" she asks.

Aphrodite blinks, “What?” She asks. She had no idea what the woman just said. She shifts slightly, “Could you…say that in english?”

Nishida tilts her head, seemingly processing before chuckling.
Her voice was quiet, but it still managed to fill the room in its entirety.
"Sorry, I forgot my manners. . . I was asking you for food without even introducing myself." she replies.

Aphrodite pauses for a moment, then hums. “I have food…” of course this woman would be hungry. She’s been here for years. Aphrodite smiles and pulls out a metal cutter. “I also have something to get you out of that uncomfortable looking position.” She hums and gets to work.

"Food first. I haven't had a decent meal in years." Nishida chuckles. "After I eat I can break the chains myself."

Aphrodite laughs, “I’m not a charity.” She keeps working on the chains.

"Oh c'mon." Nishida chuckles. "You're not a charity, yet you'll still cut my chains for me?"

She hums, “Because I’m curious.” She keeps working, breaking one chain that was holding up her arm. In all reality…she was a good person, but she didn’t want anyone knowing she had a soft spot.

Aphrodite huffs and gives her some food. It wasn’t too fancy, just some bread, cooked meat and a canteen of water. “Have at it then. I freed one hand so help yourself.” She plops herself down a few feet away from Nishida.

Nishida grins.
"Shokuji o arigatō." she replies, taking the food and water and tearing into it, making it disappear in les than a minute.
She smirks, and flexes, before tearing the chains apart with some ammount of effort.
She stands up, stretching. "Domo arigatōgozaimasu."

Aphrodite watches, somewhat mesmerized by her. She hums and stands. “I’m going to assume that was a thank you.” She smiles. “You’re welcome.”

"It was, yes." Nishida replies with a chuckle.
She looks over at the sword embedded in the stone beside her and grabs the handle, pulling on it.
About 5 feet of blade leave the stone, on top of the 9 feet that was already sticking out of the earth. She swings it with practiced ease, still with one hand.
"Now, do you mind helping me out of this. . . pit?" she asks cheerfully.

"I can't really remember. I used to count every year that went by but I lost count after. . . 300?" Nishida shrugs, resting the sword on her shoulder.

"I killed a lot of people." she says with a smile. It was hard to tell if she was joking or not.
