The Twins of Astoria // One-On-One // CLOSED

In the realm of Astoria, there are two kingdoms. Solaria and Etheria. Solaria is the kingdom of light, of eternal day, and it is ruled by King Solter. Etheria is the kingdom of darkness, of eternal night, and it is ruled by Queen Crescent. 19 years ago, the former kings and queens of Solaria and Etheria wished to unite their kingdoms. To achieve this, they decided to wed their two heirs. However, Solter refused to marry Crescent as it was not for love. Now it just so happened that Crescent had a younger sister named Luna. Luna had the most beautiful purple eyes, and Solter fell in love with her. They were married shortly after and started to try for a child. After two years, Luna finally fell pregnant, and soon delivered two baby girls – twins. One for the day, one for the night. Each with the same eyes as Luna. Crescent was furious, and decided to seek revenge. She snuck into the castle of Solaria with a green gas that made everyone but Luna and the night twin sleep. In that moment, she tried to steal away both of the princesses but was stopped by her sister. Luna managed to save the day twin, but was knocked by Crescent and plummeted to her death. She cushioned the fall for the day twin, who grew up in princess life, although she was unaware of her past. The night twin grew up under Crescent’s rule, thinking herself a simple servant. With his beloved Luna gone and his youngest daughter stolen, Solter was devastated. But his Grand Sorceress Caasi told him that as long as the Sun Amulet and the Moon Amulet were kept away from each other, Astoria was safe. He foretold something from when the twins were 16. “When the hearts of day and night come together in love, the world is one.”

Also I'd like to be the Solarian princess, but I'm OK with the Etherian one.

Appearance: Dawn has violet eyes that are unusual to the day kingdom of Solaria, but the rest of her appearance is correct. She has knee-length silky blonde hair, that is typically either braided or in a ponytail. She has pale unblemished skin.
Style: Dawn wears clothes typical to Solaria. She wears a dress with a short front and a long back that is a few centimetres off the ground. It fades from gold to orange to red, and has a sun pattern on the bottom. She wears red mid-calf length lace up boots, and a small day wear tiara with orange jewels.
Personality: Dawn is energetic, curious and upbeat. She always tries to make people happy and doesn’t like seeing them sad.
Likes: Her father, her kingdom
Dislikes: Her mother’s death
Background: Dawn grew up with no knowledge of her mother’s death, her twin sister or Etheria. She believed that Solaria was the only kingdom that existed and that she was the only child of the king.

Appearance: Her eyes are a light violet while her hair is ebony and ends at her midback-she usually keeps it down since ponytails or anything that involved putting her hair up caused irritation, her skin is rather pale.
Style: Amaya wears a long sleeved dark grey shirt that seems a tad bit to large for her-though she finds it more comfortable- and regular brown pants. Her shoes matched her hair in terms of color and reached just below her ankles she had randomly found them somewhere and started using them when no-one claimed them.
Personality: Amaya was usually a silent girl as she didn't ever have much to say, she could be fairly curious about new things and could be fairly grouchy especially when she wakes up from sleeping or napping.
Likes: Twilight, The full moon, dark flowers
Dislikes: Cresent, Spiders, tall heights
Background: She grew up within the Etherian kingdom being raised with the thought she was nothing more than a servant for the queen, whom in her opinion was fairly rude and very demanding while always giving her a strange look like she had some grudge she couldn't put her finger on.
Other: She gained her dislike of spiders when she was nearly bit by a larger than usual one that was, fortunately, disposed of by another servant.
She usually goes outside into a small field where a small patch of dark purple flowers grow whenever she can to get things off of her mind.

we'll start with amaya having stolen the moon amulet (literally just a necklace with a moon pendant. when joined with the sun amulet, they fit together) from crescent, snuck over to solaria and into the castle)

"Why won't you tell me what I want to know?!" Dawn yelled at her father.
"You had no right to go snooping in the dungeon rooms!"
"Dad, I'm 16! Stop telling me what to do! I'm not a child anymore! Stop treating me like one!" Dawn yelled again, the Sun Amulet glinting slightly on the area above her collarbone. Solter fumed.
"GO TO YOUR ROOM!" He shouted.
"FINE!" Dawn screamed back, and ran out of the dining room and into the corridor, right into a dark haired girl.

Amaya backed up the moon amulet in clenched her hand as she was bumped into by the blond princess and she took a moment to study the girl not recognizing her before going to move around her with a swift and quiet “sorry…”

Dawn stood up and watched the dark haired girl retreated. "Hey! You! Stop!"

Amaya stopped and uneasily looked back at dawn standing there waiting, she had stopped because she learned from her 'mother' one of the other servants to stop when told

Dawn peered at the girl and let out a soft gasp when she saw her eyes. "Your eyes," She whispered. "Come closer."

Amaya stared at her like she was crazy "what's wrong with my eyes?" She kept her hand firmly gripped staying still

"They're just like mine, and my mother's," Dawn explained. "No one has eyes like us."

"Oh.." Amaya looked at dawn's eyes "well your eyes are similar to mine" she then thought how similar dawn looked like her maybe not in color and style but similar in features

"You…look like me too."

"I-i do?" Amaya grew weary feeling like knew dawn but from where? she thought to herself beginning to find many similarities "I suppose we do…"

Dawn was over her initial shock. "What are you doing here? No one can enter the castle without permission. How did you get in here?"

Speaking a little more loudly she stated "I need to give something to king…" Amaya looked around "I came in when the guards were distracted… it's really important, or I think it is.."

"Tell me what it is that you need to give to him," Dawn ordered. "The king is my father."

"He is?" Amaya blinked at her for a moment in silence before shaking her head slightly "I can only tell him this… it's something only he would understand, I think"

"I order you to tell me," Dawn emphasised. "Otherwise, I'll have you thrown in the dungeons for trespassing.

Clenching the amulet in her hand she went silent again thinking about what she should do hesitating

Dawn turned. "Guards!" She called. She knew that there were never any guards in this corridor, but the dark haired girl didn't.

Amayas eyes widened in surprise as she looked around the hall before frowning and staying in place, even if there actually were guards there, she wouldn’t run since that would cause more trouble for herself not to mention she didn’t know her way around.

"Tell me what it is or you will be arrested."

“…fine… but can you bring me to the king after I do? Please?” Amaya looked down towards the ground and at her fist

"I will make no promises to a trespasser," Dawn replied. "But yes," She added in a whisper.
