Gabriel stay curled around Azriel’s hand, wishing to feel the demon’s body curl around him. It would warm him, and make him feel safe within this scary world. He wanted to be cradled and consoled. Butterflies fluttered around his stomach, making his body tingle as Azriel grew closer. Gabriel swallowed harshly, a strung blush burning his cheeks. If only he could spend his entire life with Azriel. If only he could spend his life with some company, then alone. He sighed, reaching out to touch Azriel’s face. Gabriel brushed his thumb over Azriel’s cheekbone, then moved down his face to brush his thumb over Azriel’s lips. He smiled. Azriel’s skin was soft and so were his lips. He shifted his body, unfurling his legs to stretch them. “I’m glad you feel that way because I Don’t think I have the ability to let go.” Gabriel giggled, lifting his hand to place it over Azriel’s. He loved Azriel’s touch. It was gentle, comforting. It was warming, filling his body with great warmth.
Gabriel’s breathing was slow, relaxed compared to his breathing before. “Maybe it would be better than living alone.” He murmured. “If I start to resent it, then you can take me home. Does it have to be a month exact?” It was probably best they cut ties after exactly one month. If anything were to develop further, it could be disastrous for both of them. Gabriel could be murdered and then Azriel would be if someone found out — stupid demons. Why couldn’t they live in harmony? He sighed. “Fine. I will enjoy as much time as I get. I will enjoy what it feels to not be lonely.” He felt Azriel’s lips upon his, his eyes opening as an intense blush took over his face. His heartbeat quickened and so did his breathing. Gabriel melted into Azriel’s kiss, a satisfied whine coming from his throat. His body tangled with happiness.
