Rook smiled and rolled his eyes. "I wasn't doubting your competence, I was wondering how the stupid henchmen faired. Are you sure they're necessary? It'd be much easier just to be rid of them all and do it ourselves!"
Mania whirled on him, hands on her hips. "And get rid of the only company I get?" she asked brusquely. "Absolutely not. Besides, they were great last time they interrupted your stupid monologue and stopped that arrow from piercing your skull. I would've let it kill you."
She turned her back in Rook once more, cracking three eggs into the pan. "Basically no. They're staying."
