I had to give myself up Macha, what else would I have done? You could've gotten hurt more and I couldn't risk that. The demon growled a little but he pushed it away.
There are voices in our heads rp (Closed)
Macha didn’t reply to him, too busy fending off a panic attack as the ‘doctor’ stopped right in front of her. Her breaths were quick and strained, her hands shook, her eyes were wide open and terrified, with a night of rage behind then. “Macha?” His brow furrowed. “Are you okay?”
Macha? Is everything okay? He felt her fear and started to worry.
Macha summoned all her courage, envisioning Tyler, bloodied and tied up at the mercy of these people. “I’m fine. Just… disoriented.”, she managed.
Macha! He started to panic, feeling her emotions as strong as his own.
The doctor frowned. “Alright. I’m going to have to run some tests on you, is that okay. Nonononono it is not okay. She didn’t say that of course. Just nodded weakly. I’ll get out as soon as I can.
I'll try to get out of here. Don't let him touch you, or do anything. Tyler walked back up the stairs and sat waiting, hoping they would open it.
Be careful. “And we’re going to put you in some medication, just to ease your pain.” Hell no. The ‘medication’ was probably something to make her forget, or worse, kill her. She’d have to spit it out or something. “The bullet was lodged in your stomach, you lost a lot of blood, but we managed to save you. We’ve got someone trying to figure out what it was made of and how it was able to harm you, but a lot is uncertain. You don’t exactly have the anatomy of a regular person. For the next four months or so, we just want you to lie back and rest. Okay?” Macha managed a shaky nod. The ‘doctor’ sat down. “Do you remember much about how you were shot? Who shot you?” Macha could see a warning in his eyes. If she tatted him out, Tyler was as good as dead, and so was she. “I was just walking home from.. the library. All of a sudden, a man jumped in front of me with a gun. I tried to run, and he shot me.”
Don't take the medication Macha. Stay calm. It'll be okay. He tried reassuring her.
I'm trying my best. And I'll just spit the medicine out somewhere… If it's a pill I could stuff it under the mattress? Bury it in a potted plant? She was trying to feign nonchalance and it wasn't working. She was terrified, and she was angry. And she wanted Tyler back, safe, with her. Don't hurt yourself trying to escape. I'll try as best as I can to get out as soon as possible. The 'doctor' nodded. "We'll have the police in here soon, they'll ask you to describe your shooter, maybe make a police sketch." The warning in his eyes turned to a threat. She merely nodded.
Ill do whatever it takes to get to you Macha. Just stay safe.
(awwww he's so sweet omgggg)
I love you. The 'doctor' rocked back on his heels and smiled openly at her, no trace of the vicious look in his eyes remaining. "Feel better. I'll leave you to talk with your father now."
(❤️My boi)
Tyler breathed out heavily. He had to get out of here, somehow. I love you too. He answered, missing her so much.
The 'doctor' left the room and Macha felt a huge wave of relief crashing down on her, not only from his blessed absence, but also from the knowledge that Tyler was alive, and that they could still communicate. A hard lump of trauma, rage, panic, and loss sat in her chest, bringing tears to her eyes, which she angrily wiped away. She was not weak. She was strong, and she was going to make it through this, get out of the hospital, and get to Tyler. To hell with anyone who tried to stop her. Her father cleared his throat, squeezing her hand. After a lot of "You had be worried sick"s, "I'm so glad you're safe"s, and "You are never walking home alone again"s, he left her to rest.
Are you alone? He asked her as he started pacing again.
Yeah. You too? Macha pulled the thin sheets off of her, realizing just then how bloodied her clothes were.
Can you leave now? Is there a window or something?
Macha surveyed the room quickly. Yeah, but there are also security cameras. I'll go to the washroom and climb out a window there. She pushed herself out of bed, legs almost buckling when she tried to support her full weight on them. Taking a deep breath and smothering a grimace of pain, she tried again, this time succeeding on her walk to the door, if not a little wobbly. She opened the door a crack, almost hitting a nurse that was about to walk in. The nurse looked surprised that Macha was even standing. "Um, could you direct me to the nearest washroom, please?"
A few minutes later and she was forcing a grimy window open and climbing through, ignoring the intense pain erupting from her back and stomach. I'm out.
Be careful. Don’t go if it hurts you. He said, feeling the throb of pain in her back.
It'll be harder to get out the longer I wait. Do you have any idea about where they're keeping you? Macha ducked behind a bush.
I should’ve paid better attention. It was only about twenty minutes away. It’s a big concrete building. There’s a long driveway surrounded with trees.
Macha made her way back to Tyler's house, careful to not be seen, and turned in the direction she remembered the car going. I think I know where you're talking about.
Her voice sounded quiet and distant in his head but Tyler thought nothing of it. *Im pretty sure we only turned once.
Okay, got it.
(skip to like over an hour later because she's on foot)
Macha's heart pounded in her chest as she peered around the corner at the driveway and the building. How do I get in without being detected?
I have no idea..sorry.. Tyler responded, her voice fading a little each time they talked. He was growing worried.
This time, Macha could barely hear Tyler's voice. Tyler? I can't– I can't hear you.
I can barely hear you either.. He said, her voice and feeling slowly fading from his head until it was just himself left.
Tyler?? There was no response. Macha clamped down on her rising terror and tried to focus on the more important task at hand, getting inside.
(I…… have no idea how to get her in)
(I got dis)
Tyler no longer has Macha, the only thing keeping him sane, She was gone. He felt the Demon rise up and dominate him. It let out a roar and shook angrily. He ran at the door, slamming into it with his shoulder. There should have been pain but it was nonexistent. The door make bang and a large dent was formed as Tyler ran into it. He heard shouts and footsteps running towards it.
(Yeah so all the guards are near his door so she can basically just sneak in undetected)
(Thanks, That was a great idea!)
Macha heard a yell and a bang. All the guards near the door immediately ran inside. Worry locked in her heart, but she quickly ran up to the door and slipped in, undetected. Weapon, I need a weapon. Shit. There was no weapon to be seen. She’d have to do this unarmed. Another bang reverberated through the building, as well as panicked shouting. With her heart in her throat, she ran towards the sound.
(Why can’t they hear eachother anymore?)
