It took Macha almost forty-five minutes to pass through each layer of security, past tests, and showing papers, and proving that she knew Tyler, until finally, finally, she was lead through a set of double doors to a room labelled 'Visitation 021'.

Tyler was standing by the window, looking up when she entered the room. His whole face lighting up when he saw her. The other officers/nurses/whoever closed the door behind Macha and left them alone.
Macha rushed forward, crushing Tyler in a bear hug. "Oh my god…" she breathed, pulling back to pat him down, as if making sure he was there, in front of her. "Oh my god.."
“Oh my god.” Tyler repeated, grinning down at her. “How are you?” He asked quietly, taking her hand and kissing it gently.
Macha crushed her lips against his, her heart swelling until it didn’t quite fit in her chest anymore. “I missed you…”
“I missed you too..” Tyler replied, slightly taken-aback by the kiss. “You’re so beautiful..” He murmured, brushing a hand through her hair.

Tears blurred her vision. She rapidly blinked them away. “How have you been?? What have they done to you??”
"I'm fine darling. Not good, not bad. Fine is a middle ground. They haven't done anything to me. I'm still the same person." He said all of this with a smile, deliriously happy to see her.

Macha wound her arms around him and pulled him close, resting her head over his heart. “If you say so…. I brought you a care package, but they didn’t let much of it past security.”
"I'm just glad you're here.." Tyler murmured, kissing the top of her head gently. "I love you.."

“I love you too…” She inhaled slowly, albeit shakily. “I can finally talk to you in person..”
(yeah, a lot of things happened. and in conclusion, I am a horrible person and there are more cuts on my arm.)
"I know, I love hearing your voice, seeing you is wonderful as well.."

Macha sighed deeply, the first smile in over a week appearing on her face.

"Have you been eating?" Tyler asked, a little nervous.

Macha paused, chewing on her lip for a moment before responding. "I've been trying. Have you?"
“Yeah, some. Have you been sleeping at all?” Tyler asked, gazing down at her worriedly.
"As best as I could," she replied honestly, giving a half-answer that was hopefully both vague and reassuring. "Have you?"
“Not really, maybe an hour or two in the morning..” He replied, knowing they’d both be better off if they were together.
"I'm sorry…" she murmured, tightening her hold on him.
“Don’t be sorry Macha. I just wish this wasn’t the situation we were in..” He replied a little sadly.
"I've been trying to come up with ways to get you out…." she said quietly. "The only way is for them to 'cure' you of whatever you have."
Tyler laughed and shook his head. “I wish they could.”
Wouldn’t you miss me?
Never.
"Yeah…. I just hope they don't try to exorcize you…" she murmured.
"They wouldn't.." He paused. "At least, I don't think they would.."
“Shit, I hope not,” she breathed, pulling back.
