Macha didn’t sleep for a long time, to occupied with pulling up the best memories she could think of and pushing them gently into his head, humming sleepy songs to lull him to sleep, and summoning her most positive emotions. She hugged him to her, wishing her skin radiated warmth so that she could better help him.

Tyler felt her feeding happy emotions into him. Go to sleep.. He thought, squeezing her hand.

You too., she though at him, squeezing him tightly.
I will if you do.. He said stubbornly.
Macha sighed, curling up tighter. Fine. She began to quietly hum.
Tyler rolled over onto his back and brought Macha with him so she was laying on his chest.
Macha’s breath hitches ik surprise, and she shifted her weight so that she wouldn’t hurt him. Laying her head on his chest, she let her eyes fall shut. Be okay soon… I wish we could both be okay.
We have each other..it'll be okay.. He sighed, looking down at her as she dozed.
For the first time in who knows how long, Macha drifted off easily, warmed by Tyler.
Tyler dozed off for a couple minutes but couldn't go to sleep, keeping still and stroking Macha's hair gently until the sun rose above the trees.

The sunlight streaming through the window fell across her peaceful face, and she sighed in her sleep.
Tyler smiled and kissed the top of her head, blinking a little in the sunlight.
Macha’s eyes fluttered open sleepily. She blinked around at her surroundings, still a bit disoriented, before she realized why the bedroom wasn’t her own. The next thing she realized was that she was laying on top of Tyler.
"Good morning.." He smiled over at her.
Macha rolled off his chest, landing next to him on the bed and touched her nose to his lightly. “G’morning.” Her speech was still slightly slurred from sleep. “How’d you sleep?”
"Okay..how bout you?" He said, giving her a quick peck on the lips.
Macha’s nose bumped against his, this time unintentionally. “More than usual.” She could tell he was lying. “You should go to bed early tonight.”
"Mm..probably not. It's okay."
Macha sighed. "Tyler…"
Tyler interrupted her with a kiss and a small smile. “I’m fine.”
Macha sighed (again). "If you say so…", she murmured, kissing him back gently before pushing herself up into a sitting position.

Tyler sat up as well and rested his head on her back, wrapping his arms around her middle.
Tingles raced up her spine, and she scooted backwards just a little, letting him lean on her. Her hands found his, wrapped around her waist.
Tyler sighed happily. “You’re comfy..” He mumbled tiredly.
"Mm." Macha craned her head back to press a kiss against his soft mouth. Even with my stone skin?
Even better. He smiled, kissing her quickly before burying his face in the blanket draped over her shoulders.
Macha twisted her torso around, pulling her legs with it until she was facing Tyler. Gently, she hooked her forefinger under his chin and nudged his head up to face her, taking it in her hands and laying their foreheads together. Her one leg had somehow gotten itself draped over his, her other one was tucked underneath her.
