"Is keeping you from harms way so wrong? Look, I understand I can be a bit… much, but I do these things because I love you."

@Fraust

"Yeah, I know it's because you love me, it's just…" Cas thought for a moment, trying to find the right words. "I wanna be able to go and do fun things like ice skate and climb trees and I wanna help you if you're in danger too. You literally locked me in a shed, which seems a bit excessive."

@Bananapudding

Yeah, yeah…I, um…" he sighed and nodded subtly. "I'm sorry about that. I just want to– to…" he struggled to find words to say to him. "I'm trying."

@Fraust

"I know you're trying, love…" Cas sighed softly. "And I'm glad you care, I really do, but… you know…"

@Bananapudding

"Yeah… I'll…I'll try to be more lenient.," he nodded and gave him a small smile.

@Fraust

Cas nodded as well and held his open arms out towards Sorin in case he wanted a hug.

@Bananapudding

He walked to him, wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him to his chest. Sorin nuzzled his hair.

@Fraust

Cas turned his ears back and rubbed gently against Sorin's chin, his tail flicking. "I love you…"

@Bananapudding

He closed his eyes, pressing his lips against the top of his head and lingered there for a moment. "I love you too."

@Fraust

Cas lingered for a few more seconds before reluctantly pulling away. "I suppose we should have that lesson now, shouldn't we?"

@Bananapudding

He nodded headed to the living room. He grabbed the small bag of cards from the bookshelf and sat on the ground, scrambling to make up the words they left off on.

@Fraust

Cas did a bit better today with deciphering the words, able to read giraffe first try since he remembered it from yesterday. "Air… pl… airplay, nnn… airplane?"

@Bananapudding

Sorin nodded with a smile. "Yes, yes, that's it… Now what about this one?" He pointed to 'advertisement'.

@Fraust

"…Fuck." Cas picked the card up, examining it closely. "A-Adv… adverti… sment… cement? Ad, vertiss, smint… advertise… advertisement…?"

@Bananapudding

"Good, good…" he scanned the cards and pushed one toward Cas. "And this one?" He pointed to the word 'delicate'.

@Fraust

Cas sighed softly and picked up the card. "Del i… c.. catty. Cat. Cate? Del. I. Cate. Delicate."

@Bananapudding

Sorin stood up and grabbed a sheet of paper and pencil. "Now," he handed them to Cas, "Are you able to write down the words you've just said?" He pushed the other two cards closer to him.

@Fraust

Cas was at least a little better at writing, and he could sound out the words okay. Once he finished, his paper looked about like this:
AIRPLAYN
ADVERTIZEMINT
DELIKETT

@Bananapudding

He tilted his head and narrowed his eyes on the paper. "Close… but not quite the correct spelling. Think about the ways you've pronounced them before you got them right and try writing them…"

@Fraust

Cas tried several more times with all the different spellings he could think of, filling the paper pretty quick with his rather large letters. After a bit, he managed to get the correct spellings and circled them when Sorin told him they were right.

@Bananapudding

"Now," he arranged the cards so that they were in a straight line in front of Cas, "these. Try to write them for me? It's okay if you can't write them all… Do as much as you can."

@Fraust

Cas did better with this since all he had to do was copy the words down. His letters were a bit shaky, but the words were spelled correctly.

@Bananapudding

"Good, now try to spell and sound them out." Sorin adjusted himself so he could sit more comfortably.

@Fraust

"Y. O. U… You… A. R. E. Are. M. Y… my… A. N. G. E. L. Angel! I remember these ones." Cas smiled, looking down at the sentence.

@Bananapudding

He let out a small laugh and moved the cards aside to make room for the other ones. "These."

@Fraust

"Something about airplanes, I dunno." Cas shrugged, picking up the airplane card.

@Bananapudding

"Break up the words piece by piece before reading out the whole thing."

@Fraust

"Ugh… airplanes. F. L. Y. Fly, in, the… sky. Airplanes fly in the sky."

@Bananapudding

A broad smile was plastered on his face as he watched him. He gently tapped on the paper, indicating that he should write it.

@Fraust

Cas muttered each letter under his breath as he wrote it out. He managed to spell it correctly, although it was still quite sloppy.
