"Cool! I didn't die! Should we go inside?" Cas looked up at Sorin, the tips of his perked ears pushing up the fabric of his beanie.
This is stupid // OxO // Closed
"Of course," Sorin reached into the back pocket of his pants and pulled out his keys. He held Cas's hand and led him inside once he opened it. Though his flat was small, it's interior decor was something he took pride in with it's rare, exquisite antiques from his old country.
Cas took off the hat once he was inside, and his ears swiveled around to pick up various small sounds. He held the hat in one hand, considering Sorin was holding onto the other. "This place is really nice…"
He shut the door behind him and locked it. "Thank you."
Cas smiled softly, his ears flicking towards Sorin as the angel spoke. "No problem. You live here all alone?"
Sorin nodded and tossed his keys toward the kitchen counter.
"Mm… are you taking me somewhere in particular?" Cas glanced down to where Sorin was still holding his hand.
Sorin blushed when he realized he was still holding his hand and quickly let go. "I'm sorry."
"It's fine, I don't mind, really." Cas kept his gentle smile as he glanced around. "It's been a long time since I've been in an apartment or house or anything."
Or eaten anything. He eyes wandered all over him, now realizing how frail he was. "Are you hungry? Would you like me to get you something?"
"Hmm? Oh… food would be nice, but you don't have to bother wasting too many resources on me. I'm quite used to not eating." Cas hummed softly.
"Now you are going to learn to get use to eating three times a day," he walked towards his freezer and pulled out a box of mozzarella sticks and poured them into a bowl. "What did you eat for breakfast."
"Uh… I didn't have breakfast today. I usually don't eat in the morning…" Cas sat down in the kitchen.
(I'm gonna go to bed but ill definitely be here tmmr :))
(Alright goodnight)
Sorin popped open the microwave and set the mozzarella sticks in before closing it and setting it to twenty-five seconds. "Well, that's all gonna change now that you're here."
"Alright… what's that you're making?" Cas watched the microwave curiously. "It smells good."
"Mozzarella sticks?" he looked at him curiously as he crossed his arms and leaned against the kitchen counter. "You've ever had one before?"
Cas shook his head. "Is that not normal…?"
Sorin stood up straight. "Oh no, I didn't mean it like that," he immediately grabbed the bowl out of the microwave the second it started beeping and put it in front of Cas. "Would you like marinara or honey mustard with that?"
Cas gave Sorin a small, bewildered smile as he glanced to the side and back. "…What?" He felt like this was something he should know, but clearly he was clueless.
When was the last time he ate at all? "How about I give you both and you tell me which one you like more," Sorin opened the fridge and grabbed two small bowls and set them in front of him.
"Okay." Cas blew on the mozzarella sticks once they were given to him to cool them down. When they were edible, he dipped it into the marinara and took a bite. "Not bad… What did you say these were?"
"Mozzarella sticks," Sorin smiled. "Uh, they're essentially just breaded cheese."
Cas nodded, swinging his legs a bit in front of the stool he was sitting on. "I like them." He tried it in the honey mustard as well and glanced between the two. "I think I like the red one better."
"You're welcome to take whatever you want to eat here, you know."
"Oh… I don't want to take too much of your food. It's scarce this season." He ate another mozzarella stick. "Do you want some?"
Sorin shook his head. "Please, eat all the food you want. I could always get more."
"From where? Do you go to the town market too?" Cas flicked an ear, purring very quietly in content.
"Yes?" Sorin chuckled. "Uh, what do you want to drink?"
