Winter continued to mutter curses under his breath as he worked on the shower. It sprayed at him a little bit.
"This war never ended, did it? Not for us." // O/O // Closed
Mycah finished weeding one half of the yard and stood, stretching a bit and glancing at the pile of weeds. The part that they'd been working on looked pretty good.
Winter let out a quiet breath, shaking his head as the water splashed into his face.
Mycah turned to the other side of the yard, which somehow looked worse than the first half had. They sighed and walked over to the nearest patch of weeds.
(not gonna be too active. I got in a fight with my siblings and we're all in trouble 🙄)
Winter sighed faintly, and stepped out of the shower, turning it on to watch the water flow, hoping it had worked.
(Ooh, that sucks. I wish you the best of luck with that! :)
Mycah stood up and moved to the next patch of weeds, their hands starting to complain about the prickly weeds. Still, they pushed on, not wanting to leave it half done.
(Thanks!)
Winter continued to work on the shower, humming to himself as he worked.
The rest of the weeds were pulled out and piled in the middle of the yard. Mycah's hands were sore, making them wish they had used gloves. Now all there was to do was trim the bushes on the other side of the door and put the weeds into the trash.
Winter continued working with the shower, eventually getting it to work the way it was supposed to. Then he got to work on the bathroom sink.
Before moving onto the bushes, however, Mycah sat down on the steps leading to the door. They wanted to let their hands rest a little. It wasn't like this was time-sensitive, anyway. If Winter needed their help, they could easily step away.
Winter moved under the bathroom sink, to work on getting that one in working condition.
Satisfied with the state of their hands, Mycah stood up and walked over to the bushes. These were quite wild, branches going every which way. They glanced around again to make sure no one was watching, then created the pair of clippers again.
Winter kept working on the sink, mumbling curses as this one too spat water at him.
Mycah started clipping off some of the more wild branches, eventually turning the bush into something that looked like it belonged in someone's back yard, rather than in the middle of the forest.
Winter continued to work, the litany of curses flowing from his mouth serving as his music to which he worked.
They moved on to the next bush, giving it the same treatment as the first one. After finishing that one, they were basically done with the yard.
Winter continued to work, wanting to have working faucets in their house.
Mycah gathered up the weeds, wondering where they would put them. After a few moments of thought and a few glances around, they tossed the pile of weeds over the fence. They climbed over the fence and took the weeds a little farther away from the house, then climbed back over and walked into the house.
(timeskip?)
(Sure! You got it?)
(sure! Do you have a preference for when?)
(Not really. If you have any ideas to mess their lives up a bit (evil laughing), go for it!)
(Haha! I don't at this exact moment, though I've been working on brainstorming stuff)
(Ooh, fun!)
(:D my issue is that tpically i either have zero ideas, or i have five. I'm currently in the in-between stage where i have nothing i can put into words lmao)
(Oh, I get that. My favorite is the in-between stage. It's not infuriating at all. :)
(mmhmm. Not at alll)
(boop, sorry. Just making sure this doesn't get lost!)
(ahh sorry! Uhm do you think they should get recognized, or nah?)
(I mean… there's not a big chance they would… unless it was by someone who knew them kind of well, or if Mycah forgets their charm thingy. It would add a level of interesting and panicked screaming to it, so sure!)
