Cat chuckled. “She really does but of course you look way cuter than the doll,” Cat said whispering the last part as she reattached their hands.
True loves kiss (Lesbian romance O/O)
Aurelie blushed. "Aww, you're sweet," she responded, setting the doll back gently on the table she had plucked it off of. It reminded her of a doll she'd had a while ago. She hoped that some little girl found it and loved it as much as she had loved hers.
Cat smile widened. “Do you want to check out the clothes stand?” She asked pointing at the other stand.
“Oh my stars yes!” she exclaimed excitedly. “In case you didn’t know, I kind of love clothes. Not always dresses, but boots and tunics and cloaks!” She looked like a kid in a candy store.
“I can tell by your amazing wardrobe,” Cat said smirking and festering at Aurelie's cloak. She lead her to the stand.
Aurelie giggled. “I was going for nondescript today,” she mock-pouted, her eyes already darting towards the clothing with excitement.
”I like the cloak. You remind me of little red riding hood, ” she said smiling softly and starting to look at the racks with dresses.
Aurelie blushed. “Like, in a cute way though, right?” she asked, with a small smile as she glanced back at Cat.
”the cutest way, ” she said the smirk coming back. She really should get an outfit. She hasn't gotten new clothes in what 2 years. Not counting her maid uniform of course. She moved to the shirts.
She smiled as she looked through a bunch of riding boots. They were really cool. She noticed Cat admiring some clothes, and thought about the coins she had taken with her (not so many as to seem odd though). Maybe she would buy something for Cat when she wasn’t looking.
Cat looked around the stand and was about to go go with Aurelie when she saw him. A man standing a few feet away staring at her. She knew him he was apart of that little gang that hated her brother. He was staring at her smirking. She walked over to Aurelie. “Hey I have to go talk to someone but I’ll be right back ok?” She whispered.
Aurelie raised her eyebrows. It probably wasn’t a friend based on the other girl’s expression. “Okay,” she mumbled, glancing back at Cat.
Cat walked over to the man and started talking In hushed voices. Every once in a awhile shed glance at Aurelie.
Aurelie kept looking through the clothes, glancing at Cat occasionally. This was a good chance to buy her the outfit that she’d been eyeing, so Aurelie did it quickly, hoping that the other girl hadn’t noticed.
Cat didn’t notice. The discussion she was having the man was getting heats. Her fists clenched and his smirk gone. They still whispered but that probably won’t last.
Aurelie hummed as she continued to flit about the booth and the ones next to it, still glancing back at Cat occasionally. The conversation did not look like a happy one. Was Cat okay?
Cat glared up at the manas he spoke. He reached forward to grab her arm but she backed up. ”don’t you dare touch me!” she said loud enough for some people to glance at them.
Aurelie turned, her eyes widening. She had to do something, but what? She there for a moment, frozen.
Cat saw others looking and glanced at Aurelie. The man followed her stare and looked right at the princess. He chuckled and said something to Cat that made her glare at him.
I have to do something, she thought. Cat could probably handle herself but Aurelie didn’t want to risk it. She glanced around to see if there was anything that could help her before looking back at Cat and the man with a protective expression.
Cat saw Aurelie standing. She said something to the man and then walked over to her. Pretending not to notice that the man was following her. She really didn't know what to do.
“Grace, who is that and why is he following you?” Aurelie whispered fiercely, casting an angry glance at the man before quickly looking back at Cat.
”I'm sorry but we have to go, ” Cat said grabbing Aurelie's hand.
”Grace? Really that's the name you chose? Caterina too much?” He asked smirking at the pair.
Aurelie’s eyes widened. “What is he talking about?” she asked, confused and a tiny bit suspicious.
Cat’s grip tightened. “Nothing he’s just a jerk trying to make my life hard let’s go,” she said practically begging.
“Oh so she really doesn’t know? Is she your new victim? I was wondering why you and your brother aren’t attached at the hip,” she man said studying Aurelie closely.
Aurelie sped up, but she couldn’t help but glance behind her at the man with nervousness. The other girl sounded genuinely worried, and as much as Aurelie wanted to believe her, bits of doubt stuck in her mind.
Cat lead the other girl through the crowd without even looking back. She shouldn’t have left with Aurelie. She knew some thing like this would happen.
“Why did that guy call you Caterina?” Aurelie demanded, but it came out as more of a whisper than anything. She felt so vulnerable and confused.
“I’ll explain in a minute let’s-let’s just find somewhere quiet,” Cat said leading them away from the crowd but not towards the castle. Too many guards there.
“Okay…” Aurelie’s lip quivered, but she tried to focus on how Cat would tell the truth. She’d set things straight.
