Alto slept peacefully for a while until his breathing became short and quick, his face scrunched up like he was in pain.

Halo looks at Alto in worry. "Alto…. Alto wake up." He calls gently, shaking his brother.
Alto whimpered quietly and curled his knees up to his chest.
Halo became extremely worried, shaking his brother again. "Alto. Wake up."
Alto blinked sleepily, reaching a shaking hand out, pulling himself close to Halo, still breathing heavily.
"Shhhh, Alto. It's okay." He whispered as he held his brother, kissing his forehead.
Alto just hugged him tighter, tears prickling at his eyes.
"Shhhh. It's okay. I've got you. What happened?" He asks gently, running a hand through his hair.
“Bad dream..” Alto mumbled, burying his face in Halo’s shoulder.
Halo held him. "I've got you. You're safe." He mutters gently.
Alto nodded and shivered a little, his hands clammy and breathing weak.
"Easy…" Halo whispers as he holds his brother protectively.
Alto wrapped the blanket tighter around himself with shaking hands. “It’s so cold in here Halo..” He said quietly.
Halo gathers the large comforter around them, along with another blanket and he wrapped it around Alto. "I've got you."
Alto whispered and snuggled closer to Halo. He fell into an uneasy sleep a couole minutes later.
Halo kissed his forehead, humming a soft lullaby as he ran a hand through his brothers hair. He didn't fall asleep though.

Alto woke up about an hour later in a cold sweat. He rolled over to escape from all the blankets and sat up slowly, glancing over at Halo.
Halo was asleep, his hand still firmly holding Altos, his breathing soft and gentle.
Alto let him sleep, knowing he probably needed it. He looked over at the clock and sighed quietly, laying back down.
It was about late afternoon. An alarm rang off on Halo's phone. Start on dinner.
Alto glanced over at Halo's phone. He slowly got to his feet and gasped quietly, hit by a wave of dizziness.
Halo grunts. "Alto…?" He asks softly. He rolls over.
“Yeah?” Alto responded a little breathlessly. He sat back down on the bed, letting out a breath.
"You okay?" He asks softly, wrapping his arms around Altos waist, his head resting on the small of Altos back.
“Just dizzy..” Alto said, relaxing a little in his arms.
Halo nods and pulls him closer, nuzzling him. "I've got you."
“Your reminder on your went off.” Alto told him, resting against his chest.
Halo hums. "Alright." He hugs Alto gently. "You rest. Ok? I'm going to start on dinner."
