Basil slashed weakly a foot away from Rashe then quickly flipped the knife and hit Rashe in the jaw with the hilt.

(YOU ARE THE ONE MAKING IT GAY)
Basil slashed weakly a foot away from Rashe then quickly flipped the knife and hit Rashe in the jaw with the hilt.
(says the one who's pinning rashe down)
"Good attempt, bad delivery" he spun and slashed a hidden sword towards his neck
group
Basil stepped back quickly and just looked at him.
"What? bored?" he smiled "not having fun anymore?"
group
Basil Sighed then put the knife flat to Rashe's neck.
He smiled down at him "this again?" he slipped the dagger in his hand towards Basil's stomach "well, this is a problem."
group
"Slightly." Basil said and didn't move.
"so I either surrender and both of us get out here alive and unscathed, or I stab you, possibly injuring myself in the process. am I wrong?" he smiled, seeing no other possible way for him to get out of the scenario "fine." slowly raising his hand in surrender and dropping the dagger "you win."
group
Basil glared not believing he was surrendering. He never surrendered. Basil kept the Dagger where it was.
"don't believe me huh?" he smiled and laughed bitterly "smart boy. but I'm serious, I surrender." he slowly sat down on the ground and waited for Basil to remove the dagger from his neck
group
Basil slowly removed the dagger and went sit on the ground also. as he sat down he put the knife under Rashe's jaw pointing up.
"really? I said I surrendered already, you really don't trust me do you?" He shook his head slightly and smiled at the ground
group
"You're not a really trusting person." Basil replied.
"Considering I'm trusted with protecting your life?" he laughed bitterly "other than that, no not really, no one gives me a reason to trust them, so I do the same, give them a reason not to trust me."
group
Basil nodded and was slightly sceptical, he lowered the knife slightly but kept it up.
He raised an eyebrow but said nothing more. they stayed quiet for a few minutes. "so, where did you learn that?"
group
"Doesn't matter." Basil replied.
he nodded "alright, then where did you learn magic? or were you always be able to do that?"
group
"That doesn't matter much either."
"Much?" he looked at the prince suspiciously. he conjured white fire "are you fae?"
group
"No, I am not Fae."
"hm, so just magically talented then." he nodded slightly. Rashe twirled his hand, extinguishing the fire in hand.
group
Basil just watched him cautiously.
"still not trusting me?" he leaned back and looked at the ceiling
group
Basil slowly removed the knife and lowered it to the ground.
"common courtesy? or just sick of holding a knife to my neck?" he glanced down at the prince
group
"Courtesy."
"ah" he said in understanding. "well if you don't mind, I'll be heading to the library now. want me to bring you a book?" he stood and walked out the door
group
Basil nodded then walked out of the room to the kitchen. He hung out at the door as one of the cooks handed him a roll of bread with butter.
Rashe went back to his corner in the library, wanting something to do other than read
