urban fantasy rivals to lovers (o/o, open)

For the last few years, Character A has been the sole witch in the town of Wueshire, the person trusted to help the residents with everything from a cold to a haunting to bad luck. They have a potion or spell for nearly any eventuality, always eager to help the residents of Wueshire, and growing to be counted on by them. However, when another witch turns up, they begin to feel a bit territorial. This newcomer–Character B–used to live in Wueshire and practice their magic there before Character A, but left due to reasons unknown to Character A. They are reticent about why they came back to the town as well, being a somewhat mysterious person. All that Character A knows are the rumors they've heard about them. A competition between the two witches starts to brew, with the residents of the city having to decide who to go to for their various ailments. However, when a mysterious illness strikes the town and drains the citizens of their magical powers, the two will have to work together despite their rivalry to keep the rest of the town safe.

So yeah! For rules and all, it's the usual stuff. andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer)'s rules, fade to black for smut (i'm fine with it being implied but rping it makes me uncomfy lol), cursing is fine, violence is fine, etc. I'd prefer this to be gay (bxb). Our characters will be around mid-twenties for age. If we haven't rped together before then a sample would be nice. You can either be Character A or B idc. I think that's it, ask me if you have any questions!

There was a sudden flash, like lightning accompanied with a droning sound in my ears. Sound, like screams through rain. My mind snapped back to reality, multiple bright flashes appeared before me. As I stood there, practically waiting to be shot, I felt the thump of someone pushing me to the ground. I fell hard, falling onto my stomach, my body felt wet. My heart jumped when I saw myself, my body, soaked to the core with red. Just a few hours before I was making plans to go to the movie, why was this happening to me? There was a shooting, but why me? I stood quickly and started for the door, I heard another shot and I spun around. Luckily, it didn’t hit me, but that’s when I noticed a girl, roughly my age, laying on the ground. I stared at her, I watched as she reached up and muttered a help, that was it. I ran back to her. Blood was spilling from her leg. I ripped my shirt in two and tied it around her leg. She cried in pain but I just picked her up and told her she was going to be okay. I ran for the door, feeling another shot wizz past me, my ears were ringing and I was panicking, the only thing on my mind was getting her to safety. As I was running out, police were running in. I burst out the door, my chest hurt and I just felt cold. Immediately, a paramedic noticed me and rushed over. She assessed the girl's condition, she called for a stretcher as she asked if I was injured, I nodded, watching helplessly as they whisked her away. The cold wind blew as I stood there, me along with hundreds of other people, left there.

(okay, a few questions. do you normally write in the first person? and how long would you say your average response is? i'm a bit picky lol ^^')

(I'm more of a straight to the point kind of person, if our characters are conversing my responses are shorter because I don't see the point of detail if their talking, longer if they're no talking. I'm in a few other rp's if you wanna look around to get an idea. When I write I'm first person but when I RP it's generally third person)

(gotcha! unfortunately i tend to prefer people who write longer and more detailed responses, just because i tend to do that myself lol. thanks for your interest tho!)
