I haven't rped in a bit on here but I'm bored and stressed so I want a wlw high school romance set in my WIP. So basically magic exists. It's hidden from most people. My character is a witch. she has basically been completely shunned by the witch world (especially by her fellow witch teens who all go to the same public high school) because of something her father did. I'll put her character sheet below in a little bit. You have pretty much free range for who your character is but here are some quick blurbs about the different kinds of people and how they might feel about my character. Depending on what you pick this could be an enemy to lovers, friends to lovers or even friends to enemies, to lovers. Idk man.
Humans: Basically normal. doesn't know anything. A few humans have supernatural family members so they may know or they just stumbled upon the supernatural underground in their city. My character is pretty chill with most of the humans in her school so how they feel about each other would depend on their personality.
witch: (all people with powers are referred to as witches no matter gender identity or expression. Warlock is considered an offensive term.) They know about all kinds of supernatural beings in the world. They mostly combine together in communities called covens. there's like one coven per city or sometimes area. These covens have secret headquarters where most supplies are traded and witches can communicate with one another. There are separate daycares for young witches in these headquarters so they don't accidentally use their magic around humans. young witches ages 5-18 are usually in weekly classes one day after school(let's say like Tuesdays) that teach about magic. going into different branches after age like 14. (like potions, spell casting, sigils stuff like that) your character would probably have grown up with mine. been in the same class where maybe friends but after the incident, they most likely don't like her. (ill explain the incident in her backstory)
werewolves: sometimes these can be changed humans but most werewolves these days are born werewolves. They are basically normal people with a few quirks. Silver hurts them, they can do simple witch spells if they had the training, on the full moon they turn into wolves. most werewolves don't go after humans or witches anymore. some groups solely go after witches because that's how have been killing them. witches have been known for being werewolf hunters. at first in a means for self-defense and to protect their human neighbors(often putting up warding around their city against most other supernatural) but then it turned into a sport to go and attack werewolves on the full moon in the woods. werewolves are chill with vampires. My character has a pretty big bias against werewolves and werewolves usually hate witches.
vampires: These are tricky. Again most are born vampires but there are a few more turned vampires than turned werewolves. they are not completely immortal. They reach maturity at like 25 and then start aging slower so they can live to like 600 and look 30 when they are actually really old. (kind of using and logic here. that way it isn't like a 400-year-old dating a 17-year-old.) Fewer vampires are "vegan" than werewolves. Most still drinking from humans but they rarely take enough to kill. Again though witches hunt them. They hunt them less because vampires are but more dangerous. having more power than werewolves. They are able to slightly hypnotize people and use some witch magic. They do have a sensitivity to garlic and burn up while under direct sunlight for too long but the second one can be fixed with a daily potion.
