Lol okay um… maybe one of them was invited to a Valentine’s Day event/ball and didn’t have a date. One of their mutual friends introduce them and they go together and end up having a good time? Idk I’m thinking off the top of my head.

Ooo okay. Well, we could start it off with the ball thing, maybe it’s run by a clan of vampires and/or some form of mythical beings like ware wolves idk lmao. The two of them go off exploring wherever the ball is taking place and find that these people have been harnessing human/non-human souls to create a gateway to another world. One where there’s a shit load of monsters and evil beings that they’re going to use to try and take over Earth…
Yeah no that’s kinda stupid, I have zero ideas right now.

I honestly don't mind. Cliches are fine as long as there's some form of twist later on I guess.
