That’s understandable. A lot of creatures tend to share a..tic of some sorts they have,” Seig spoke, from his thoughts he had before. “Do you have anything in mind of what gear you want?

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek nodded, then sighed. "Not really…I don't actually know very much about this sort of thing. I'll have to ask for help." He replied, shrugging slightly.

Right.” Seig nodded, then looked ahead. “It seems we are approaching the marketplace.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek nodded, and walked a little faster, weaving into the marketplace, then doubled back to Seig. "Sorry. What exactly should I be looking for?" He asked, looking up at the dragon.

You can always come back here for more, but most riders, especially ones that haven’t rode a dragon for very long typically get the basics. Saddles, reins, blankets, stuff that you might find on a horse. Some like to add ribbons, or extra decoration but that’s optional. As for riders, helmets are important, riding gloves too. Fingerless or not. Depending on where you’re flying generally a jacket too. In general it gets a bit cold when flying. Riding boots as well. Make sure whatever you’re getting is built to last.” He stated.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek nodded, filing the information away. "Do you want ribbons?" He asked with a teasing grin. "I mean, the other stuff is for me. Do you want some decorations?" He chuckled softly.

Nah. I’m not a huge fan of extra decorations.” The dragon seemed to snort, slightly rolling his eyes.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek chuckled. "Alright. I'll go get stuff, then." He said, and walked into the marketplace, looking around for what he needed.

Seig nodded. “I’ll wait here then.” He sat down, tail curling around himself to avoid anyone tripping over it. The market place was already crowded enough - and with the addition of a dragon, Seig tried to minimize how much space he took up.

@ElderGod-Icefire

After a while, Alek came back with everything he had needed, and set it down with a grunt. "I think that's everything." He said, straightening up.

Seig observed it, then nodded. “It looks like you’ve got everything down. Do you have any plans as to what you’re going to be doing right now?” He questioned.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Okay. Right now? Uhh…no." Alek replied, shrugged slightly. "Do you have anything we should do?" He looked up at the big dragon.

I mean..” Seig thought for a moment. “Not really, which is why I asked. Although we could go explore, maybe see what type of flying you’re interested in - if any; which I can explain to you if you want. Or we could talk. Get to know each other, I mean.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek nodded. "We could do both at the same time?" He suggested with a shrug, looking at Seig with a small smile.

Sure. That would work.” He got up, careful of any people walking around. “Did you want to store the gear somewhere, or were you planning on going for a flight? Just before we do anything.” Seig asked.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek thought for a moment. "Uhm…if we're going to fly, shouldn't i wear it?" He asked slowly. "And put it on you."

group
@Mojack group

Yup, that would make sense.” There was a bit of humour in the dragons voice. “Do you know how to put it on? It’s kind of like gearing up a horse, if you’ve ever ridden one.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek hesitated, then nodded. "If it's like a horse, yes." He replied, picking up the blanket and saddle and starting to saddle Seig, careful not too pull it too tight and hurt the dragon.

Yup. Just like that. A lot of people are intimidated by their first few tries and I’d understand why. You’re pretty good at this, though.” Seig stared off into the distance. “Would you like me to explain to the different events or types of flight that can be partaken in?

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alek smiled. "Thanks." He nodded. "Uhm…yes please." He said as he worked to tighten the straps a bit more, though still careful not to choke or hurt Seig.
