"Welcome aboard the Burning Rose~" (oxo) (open!) (Mature!!)

Soooooooooo. I have a million other rps I need to reply to, but this has been buzzing around my mind, and I've been wanting to work on one of my characters. The Captain of the Burning Rose, a feared pirate who is known to show no mercy. Who rules the nine seas, their name whispered in fearful awe.

Basically a pirate rp.

There will be some world building, character building, various ideas, magic, and fantasy. We'll discuss more later.

BASIC RULES: PLEASE READ

• I am better at writing LGBT+ relationships, it's just easier for me? So this will probably be mlm or wlw (nonbinary, genderfluid, etc are more than welcome)
• If smut becomes a thing, it will be moved to pm. Let me know at the beginning of the rp if you're okay with this or if you want to skip it.
• This will be bloody, gory, there will be mentions of sensitive topics so please for the love of god tell me what your triggers are. I don't want to hurt anyone.
• If I am not familiar with your style of roleplaying, or it has been a while, I will ask for an rp style.
• Please no one liners, I'm not a huge fan of them. I understand if you're tired, or not up to it. Your replies can be short but please don't make it a habit. I would like this rp to be descriptive if possible.
• Don't be a dick, I think this should be self-explanatory. Your character can be a dick, but not you.
• Have somewhat decent grammar? Okay? Okay.

Name: Ali Windawara
Nicknames/Aliases: Willow
Age: appears about 25
Gender/Pronouns :AFAB, but uses both she/her and they/them pronouns
Sexuality: Pansexual, but they don't really like labels
Appearance: Ali passes as a cis female most of the time. She has slate gray hair that is waist length, the same gray eyes, and a slim frame. Being half elf they have slightly pointed ears and a naturally thin build, with long arms and legs as well as thin fingers. Ali is naturally pale, and they have high arched cheekbones, and a slim straight nose. Most elves find it hard to get scars and markings that mar their skin, and yet Ali has plenty. She has a matching set of thick scars around her wrists and ankles from cuffs, as well a thin scar along their lower abdomen, just above their hips. Besides those, there are several small ones that cross on the back of their hands and a few that cover her shoulders. They're also quite tall, probably about 6'.
Personality: Ali is naturally quiet, but they notice everything. Known to think things through completely before making any rash decisions. Until anyone becomes close to her, she's usually a little withdrawn, but always seems to care. When someone get's close to her, they opens up more, smiling (which is rare otherwise), talking more, and even opening up with their feelings. She rarely trusts anyone, but after forming a bond, there's nothing they wouldn't do for the people they trust.
Powers/Mutations/Hybrid: Ali is half elf. They inherited the general build of an elf, as well as some of the heightened senses, and it extends her lifetime (Full elves live thousands of years, they guess they'll get about 700 years of life) (I can get further into detail when we're in the rp)
Hobbies: Music, weaving, and shopping when given the chance, also doesn't mind cooking

Other: (Added just cuz) Ali isn't a full crewmember of the Burning Rose, but that's where she resides. She's using it mostly to get away from where they came from, and they plan on leaving as soon as she finds somewhere she likes.

Gender/Pronouns: Cis-female, she/her/hers
Sexuality: Unlabeled
Appearance: Ko has raven black hair that's shaved on the sides and braided neatly over her right shoulder. It's long and thick with gold and red silk woven through it. Her eyes are a pure black, and framed by thick lashes. Her skin is a dark purple, scattered with freckles that look like stars and almost glow like them. She has two huge horns sprouting from the top of her head, that curl up and out. She's tall, about 7'3, (including horns she's around 8'2) and buff. Fangs peek out and rest against her bottom lip, and her ears and horns are pierced repeatedly with silver jewelry. In total she has about 20 piercings, one on her tongue, 4 on her right ear, 5 on her left, 5 on her left horn, 4 on her right horn, and a belly button piercing. She has scars everywhere, but the most noticeable one is the one on her bottom lip, as well as the three jagged claw marks running from her left shoulder to her right waist.
Personality: Ko is a flirty, smart, and cunning individual. She's incredibly loyal to her crew, and won't hesitate to jump into a fight. She's loud, that's for sure. She can make a scene if she wants to, and she's got a lot of pride. She's not afraid to stand up for what she believes in, and will always stand beside those she calls family. Ko has a lot of guts, and honestly- walking around at 7'4 will do that for you-. She's a powerful captain with a lot of purpose, and holds a lot of fear. But she's understanding, honest (sometimes brutally honest), and fair.
Powers/Mutations/Hybrid: No one really knows what she is- the best guess is some sort of demonic race. She has some abilities, though many have not seen them in action. But she has heightened senses, an immunity to fire, and a lengthened life span.
Hobbies: Sparring, dancing, playing games, betting, hanging out with friends, cooking, playing various instruments, singing, and telling stories.

Ali didn't truly know what to think of the ship she was on. It was quite the place, and though the work was monotonous, it was comforting.

"Hurry up. The food won't cook itself." Cook grunted beside her, pulling her back into the preset. Cook was an old gristled man; half troll and full grump. He was hard about work, and after they had just left a port with a new stock of food, he was eager to cook up a good meal for the crew. Or instead, have Ali cook one up.

"Yessir," They hummed, nodding her head and going back to peeling the carrots in front of them. The base of the stew was already done, simmering happily in the middle of the room, with drops of broth splashing with every chunk of carrot tossed inside and sloshing with the waves around them. It wouldn't be long until they brought it up for the crew to eat. They just hoped there was enough left over that they could have some.

The Burning Rose didn't have a massive crew, but they sure knew how to eat, and Ali had found themself going hungry for the night on multiple occasions after Cook threatened to cut her hands off if they tried to make something after mealtime. Still, even with the occasional hunger pang, Ali looked forward to mealtime, and the inevitable storytelling and goofing off that came afterwards. It was some of the only time she truly could relax on the ship, and lately she was making friends; though they were wary of the idea knowing that they weren't going to stay on the Burning Rose forever.
