"Oh really? I would've thought you'd gathered that I was a nosy type after I lifted your email in the middle of class," she responded with a smirk, leaning against the wall as Lucifer closed the book and slung his bag over his shoulder.

"I don't really want anything," she continued with a shrug. "I just figured I'd get to know you. You seem interesting…" she trailed off, perking up at his question about the black angel. "All the professor said was to do my own research… Wait. You're only asking about the black angel, which means you must know something about a golden demon…" She paused.

Biting her lower lip thoughtfully, she studied the boy in front of her. Coming to a decision, she pushed off the wall and stepped towards Lucifer demandingly.

"Spill."

Lix was aware that her behavior was unlike that of a college student looking for information on a simple project, but she couldn't bring herself to worry about it. She'd been thinking about this a lot, and the simple fact that the lore was known as 'The Black Angel and The Golden Demon', and not just 'The Black Angel', suggested she was somehow potentially connected to a demon. Potentially connected to someone who might know what she was.

She couldn't let word get out about her. If she had to, she'd hunt down the demon and make sure he wasn't a threat to her existence.

Role At Camp: Haze/first year camper

Appearance: Evan is the kind of kid to play video games or stay inside listening to music all day, and he certainly looks the part. He is on the shorter side for a guy and thin, looking almost like a scarecrow with his messy, straw-colored hair and thin frame. He has a button nose and a small mouth, as well as high, expressive eyebrows and wide, blue eyes that make it look like he is always surprised. He’s not vampire pale, but he’s not exactly tan either with a peaches and cream skin tone. Evan has a smattering of freckles across his nose and cheeks as well as on his shoulders.

Hair color/style: Blond, perpetually messy and windswept

Eye color/shape: Clear blue, wide eyes

Height: 5’ 5”

Skin tone: Fair

Body type: Scrawny

Scars(optional): He has a small scar on his left eyebrow.

Piercings/jewelry, any tattoos: None.

Other:

Casual clothing: Evan usually wears t-shirts, with a longer shirt layered under when it’s cold. He alternates between jeans and patterned pants and generally chooses sneakers like Vans or Converse for shoes.

Camp clothing(basically what do they wear with the camp shirt): Evan wears his shirt with shorts or denim overalls, not being that creative with his outfits. For shoes, he wears sunflower yellow Converse.

Personality: Evan is shy and startles easily, but always has a lot of energy. He’s creative and innovative and likes trying new things. Evan is smart and likes making friends, even though he’s shy. He is extremely oblivious and can never tell when someone has a crush on him. He’s nervous and hates getting in trouble, but will do anything for his friends. He’s generally pretty upbeat and positive.

Backstory(why they went to camp): Evan finally saved up the money to go to camp for the summer to get away from his family and the pressure they put him under constantly. Will develop this more throughout the story.

Haze kids are called that because they're new campers. using the term Haze(similar to Hazing, which happens on occasion, but only in lighter ways for the most part) to reference they're search for placement in the camp. basically, first year campers spend their first week in what's referred to as the Haze House, a slightly larger cabin placed with the other cabins. their first day, they go through orientation, where the process is explained. after that, they spend one day with each cabin, returning to the Haze House for after-hours. this allows them to get to know the cabins and campers, forming relationships that help them choose their own placement. if they're indecisive, counselors and cabins can even volunteer to take them, though this only happens if they really enjoyed the camper's company

Hair color/style: Naturally black, but he dyes it all sorts of crazy colors. Currently, it is a mix of blue and green. He has that hair style where it's cut shorter on the sides, and long on the top (forgot what it's called, haha)

Eye color/shape: Sort of a gunmetal grey, almond shaped

Height: 5'9"

Skin tone: Rather pale-ish, though he does have a decent tan. He sunburns pretty easy, though, so he's really careful about that

Body type: rectangle?? skinny

Scars(optional): scar on the palm of his left hand where he accidentally cut it open. Arms are flecked with scars from accidental cuts made while working on things. Scar on his shoulders where a bottle got broken over his back when he was younger

Piercings/jewelry, any tattoos: Has a cartilage piercing in his left ear, and both of his ear lobes are pierced as well. Has a small nose piercing on the right side, though he doesn't always have anything in it.

Casual clothing: Typically a t-shirt of some sort, usually in darker colors, and jeans. Sometimes a hoodie if it's chillier out. His sneakers have rather suspicious burn holes in them, though only small ones.

Camp clothing(basically what do they wear with the camp shirt): Probably the same as his normal clothes, honestly. Jeans and the sneakers, or maybe boots if warranted.

Personality: Jacen, who often goes by Jace, is typically a rather easy-going guy, though he can have a fierce temper when he wants to. He is very protective over anything he has made or come up with, and often doesn't like to talk about things like his birth family or anything like that. However, as long as you don't talk about his birth family or try to pry into his personal business, he's typically a pretty decent person. He is a little bit of a pyromaniac, though, and you have to be careful around him and fires or fire-starting supplies. He carries a small lighter in his pocket at all times.

Backstory(why they went to camp): His adoptive family decided he needed to get out of the house and go somewhere, and so they sent him to this camp.

Name: Yvonne 'Von' Di Sienna

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Has never really given it much thought, but would probably say pan if she did. And as always, shipping is a yes for me.

Role At Camp: Haze kid.

Appearance:

Hair color/style: A dark reddish brown. Look more red when the sun hits it, and falls to about her shoulderblades. Keeps it up with a black scrunchie her sister got her.

Eye color/shape: Almond eyes, that are an almost yellow shade of green. The reflective properties in her eyes are stronger than most people's, lending to them reflecting light in a way close to that of a cat's.

Height: 5'6

Skin tone: A golden brown that's incredibly smooth, except for where the scars are.

Body type: Lightly muscled, with slight curves.

Scars: A small scar through her right eyebrow from falling out of a tree. A large, nasty looking scar/burn on her left side from the car accident that killed her parents, and a few smaller scars that also came from that. Other than that, she only has a couple 'oops, I scraped something' scars.

Piercings/jewelry, any tattoos: Her ears are pierced, not just the lobes but also with a helix piercing. She may also have a navel piercing, but you just have to wait for her to tie her shirt up to see that. Has the date her parents died tattooed on her left wrist. She and her sister having matching friendship jewelry, Von's being a pair of earrings in the shape of hearts.

Other: She's deaf in one ear, and her biggest fear is her hearing being taken from her entirely.

Casual clothing: Dresses kind of like a rich kid. Designer clothes, everything really well put together. But tends towards a more casual style, somehow. Prefers shorts, and tank tops or the occasional bralette. Usually tries her hardest to cover her scar, because of her survivor's guilt. Loves herself a pair of heels, regardless of whether or not they're practical.

Camp clothing: Will alter any t-shirt she's given, but throughout the first week won't alter any the same way. She taught herself to sew to fix the clothing that kept getting ripped as a child when she was getting up to mischief. As always, it doesn't matter what she's doing, she will be wearing heels. At this point, she can practically sprint in them. High waisted shorts are her best friend, particularly black because 'it goes with anything'.

Personality: She's charismatic. So much so, that she has a tendency to convince younger children to do her bidding, though she's incredibly kind and sweet to them. The same can't always be said for people her age or older, though. She's smart, which isn't a personality trait but does influence her accidentally coming off as a know-it-all, which makes some people mad. Still carries a lot of survivor's guilt, despite the accident having been four years ago. Loves screwing around with machinery, but is also incredibly fond of poetry and songwriting.

Backstory: When Von was twelve and her sister was five, she and her parents were driving home from a science fair being held at Von's school. She accidentally distracted her father, who was driving, just long enough for him to miss the drunk driver headed straight for them.

Her parents died. She didn't.

Her aunts took her and her sister in, but they hadn't realized just how much of a struggle raising two children would be. They did their best, but their best sometimes consisted of buying them things instead of spending time with them, as her aunts were incredibly career driven. They sent Von to Camp Balsam in an attempt to allow her to learn things about forming personal bonds they couldn't teach her. She doesn't want to be there, all she wants is to go home to her sister.

Camp activities joined: Myths and Creatures, Astronomy, Survival Training, Music and Theater, and Arts and Crafts. She only joined the last one because her little sister begged her to, so they could 'keep doing things together, even if we're far apart'.

Other: She writes her sister every week. It hasn't happened yet, but she is the type of person to make a flamethrower in Arts and Crafts.

once we do get started, i'd like to just let everyone know that if it's been a couple hours since the last person has responded, and the person next in line hasn't responded or let anyone know that they'd be out, the person after them can go if they're ready. however, after that one cycle, we'll wait a day or two for a heads up that they're busy, or for a response. just to make sure it doesn't die too quick!

Appearance:

Hair color/style: Besides maybe getting it caught on fire once or twice, Luke doesn't do much with his hair. It's mousey brown with natural blondish highlights and hangs down like This. All. The. Time.

Eye color/shape: He has brown eyes, though to call them brown wouldn't be quite right. They're almost black in color to be specific, with only the tiniest hint of anything other than black in them.

Height: 5'9"

Skin tone: Due to partial Hispanic heritage, he does have well-tanned skin, though with being also part Caucasian, he's somewhere in that middle ground that he doesn't know how to describe.

Body type: Rectangle. Stick. Thin. Twig. However you want to describe just how thin he is, go for it. Literally sometimes he looks like the wind could blow him away.

Scars(optional): Tiny ones all over his arms and hands from his love for tinkering and building, as well as one large one of three gashes on his right calf running from his knee to his ankle from when he had a bad encounter with a feral cat's claws.

Piercings/jewelry, any tattoos: Uh nope, though he desperately wants to get some when his father will let him.

Casual clothing: Basically exactly what he wears for camp, though with a long sleeve top or jacket with a tee in place of the camp shirt. He also has a tendency to go for pajama pants and a cutoff shirt if he's asked to wear something comfier.

Camp clothing(basically what do they wear with the camp shirt): one of several durable but well-worn franken-pants; which translates into a pair of beige work pants with as many extra pockets sewn on to fill his needs for places to hold things, though the sewing is very..very bad. And maybe a pair of ratty running shoes (They're all he has, don't judge)

Personality: A bright and happy kid, though not very outgoing around other people. He has a knack for building and absolutely would spend all of his time doing just that. Until he finds someone he's fond of or that shares similar interests he's quiet, but after that, you sometimes can't get him to shut up. Luke has a love-hate relationship with all things fire but tends to use it more often than necessary in his tinkering. Very innocent and easy to treat like the cinnamon roll he is when he's not frustrated with a project.

Backstory (Why they came to camp):Mother left when she was young, and his dad was forced to raise him and his older brother alone, which has made money tight. His father travels extensively for work to earn as much as he can and due to an..incident…three years ago with his brother he normally stays with alone over the summer, he found himself at the camp's doorstep.
