(Anytime I guess would be good!)
What Happened to You Two? (OxO & Open)
(Do you care who writes up the starter?)
(No not really, but could you?)
(Although, I can if you'd like)
(I don't mind! I'll probably write something similar to the prompt though ahah)
(Alright that's okay!)
(don't mind me, i'm just casually @-ing my main in prep to come back from hiatus @izzy-is-officially-on-hiatus)
Aiyana Swan and Louis Kage had been been together for years. 3 and 6 months to be exact. The two had talked about marriage, kids, everything. They were the couple to be, perfect in every way. But something happened. No one ever asked the two, they were all in too much shock to bother. Everyone decided guessing was best.
Her friends said Lou slept with another girl. His friends said Aiyanna bad mouthed him. No one knew the truth. It was hard for anyone to pick out what was only rumors, and what was reality. The problem, none of the truth ever had come out. Louis was seen as a scandalous rat, to anyone who picked Aiyanna's side. Aiyanna was seen as a liar and a heartbreaker, to anyone who sided with Louis.
Clearly no one was paying attention.
The two weren't dating anymore, but they still talked. They weren't friends exactly, but they were friendly enough. At least that's what Louis thought. He was perfectly fine after their breakup, but his friends over exaggerated his feelings.
Three months after they had broken up, Louis sat patiently in the cafe, a thing of roses next to him. The date was September 17th, an important date on his calendar. It was both his first loves and his dating anniversary, and the day he was meeting his new date for their first. But the other woman was nowhere to be seen. So he sat there, starring at the red roses.

(So what should Aiyana be doing? Just anything?)
(I wan imagining she could possibly meet him at the cafe? But like, it's up to you!)

(That's fine! I'll get a reply up in a bit)

Aiyana yawned as she rolled around in bed. She never could quite wake up without her daily dose of caffeine, and she was pretty sure that the last time she'd checked, she didn't have any more coffee, so she'd have to go out and buy some. But not quite yet, she needed coffee. So to a cafe it was. Aiyana growled softly to herself, though. She didn't really like social interaction, but it was a thing she'd have to learn to tolerate.
Once Aiyana arrived at the cafe, she could feel the looks some were giving her, but she didn't mind. She was plenty used to this. "One coffee," she grumbled to the person standing at one of the counters, who nodded and went to go make Aiyana a cup of coffee. And though her ex-boyfriend was sitting at one of the tables in the cafe, she didn't seem to notice him. Not quite yet.
Louis was getting defeated. He was tired, and upset. The other female, he was suppose to be meeting up with, had stood him up. It was clear, considering she was over an hour late. Louis had no idea why, he thought he was a reasonable guy. Sighing, he rested his face against the palm of his hand, and picked at the rose petals with his other hand. It was only his luck.
His half drank, and cold cup of coffee, sat there neglected. Just like him. It was stupid, but he decided that's what he felt as of the moment. Dejected, and alone. Lou knew it was childish, but he would sulk all he wanted. No one could tell him what to do, or how to feel! That was his decision. So he continued to mope as he sat there.

When her order finally arrived, Aiyana sighed in relief as her daily dose of caffeine arrived. She took a sip, sighing happily. She turned around to leave, and she spotted her ex, finally, sitting at one of the tables. She was torn between two choices- she could either leave and hope that Louis didn't see her or go over and actually be friendly. Aiyana wanted to leave since she never really was one to strive for human contact, but Louis had been nice to her in the past. It was time she repaid the favour. She walked a couple steps toward the table he sat at. "Hey," she said softly, unsure of what she was doing.
Louis was about to get up, but stopped when he heard a female voice in front of him. "He-yyy…." He said, his voice switching from happy to confused. "Uh, what's up Aiyana?" He asked awkwardly, now hoping the other girl didn't show up. It would be a little awkward if some other girl showed up, and then everything would just be awkward.
"What are you doing here… in the same cafe… as me?"

"Oh- um… I was just… getting coffee?" Aiyana motioned to the cup of coffee she was holding her hand. She let the conversation die as they lapsed into silence, Aiyana standing there awkwardly. Finally, she broke the silence, "Can-can I sit?" she asked.
"Uh…" He paused, checking his phone. Still no messages. She really wasn't coming. "Sure… I have no objections." He mumbled tapping his fingers on the table. Pulling the flowers off the table, he set them on the floor by his feet in attempt to make room. Though really, they didn't take up much room. "How have you been Aiyana?"

Aiyana looked off into the distance, not quite knowing what to do. "I've… been better. You know how I get, avoiding people and all… Anyways, enough about me, what about yourself?"
She still wasn't quite looking at Louis, biting her lower lip, trying to think of something to make it less awkward. Of course, being as anti-social as she was, she knew that all her effort wasn't going to work very well. No, not at all. She had no idea about how to be social. Well… she did, but not really. She didn't practice being social anymore.
"Fine I guess." Louis mumbled running his finger over the wood of the table with a frown. "Things have just been dull, and I don't have much I can do about it. Anytime I try, it blows up in my face." The man mumbled, pushing aside his cold, half drank coffee. Things were just not great in general. After the two had broke it off, everything slowly began to crash and burn. Though that seemed to be happening even while they were together. At least on his end. "I'm just kind of… stuck. If you know what I mean. My friends aren't really around, I just feel lonely I guess."
