(I thought his name was Oscar?)
What Just Happened? (0/0) (Gay) (CLOSED!)
(It is oh my god I'm sorry I got him confused with another guy from another rp lemme change that)
"Jeeze. Spoiled huh?" He said with a chuckle. "It's alright, I spoil my 3 cats all the same." When he finally noticed Oscar's face, he realized that he was really, really cute.
Oscar nodded, signing on the screen. "I'm more of a dog person, but yeah, cats are cool. Don't they shed everywhere?" He looked up at Evan, a friendly, social smile on his face. This kid is cute. Damn, you're really single.
"Dogs, shed everywhere. My cats are short hair, so they don't shed as much, if at all. You barely notice it. And eventually it just becomes a part of every black shirt you own." He smiled, and turned to get the receipt. He had a gay pride flag, edged in gold, on his shoulder. He wore a short sleeved short, so one could clearly see the bottom half of the tattoo. He then went to scratch said shoulder, lifting up the sleeve so the whole thing could be seen for a brief second, before he handed over the receipt. "Have a nice day."
Oscar flashed him one of his brilliant prince-like smiles, taking the receit and stuffing it in his pocket before looking up at Evan again. "Hey, um…well, wow, this is going to sound out of place, but can I get your number real quick?"
"Oh wait-really? S-sure…" He grabbed a note pad, jotted down his number, and sheepishly handed it over. "Here ya go…."
"Yeah. You're pretty cute." Oscar told him, taking the note carefully in his hand and holding the bag with the other. "See you around?"
"Hopefully." He laughed a bit, and sent the guy on his way, blushing furiously. The next lady in line was the every day standard Karen, who already looked like she had complaints. He just checked her through and hoped she wouldn't call his manager for him being gay, which happened a lot more then one would thing.
Oscar smiled to himself as he walked out - he didn't blush, though, Oscar never blushed, not ever. It was practically impossible. But don't let that fool you, inside he was absolutely bursting with emotion.
Soon, he was out of work and got on his bike, riding home to his small uptown apartment, happy to go see his cats.
Oscar opened the door to his house, Alice eagerly running up to him. He grinned, setting the bags on the floor and petting her. He put the peanut butter and steaks away, falling onto his couch to watch some Netflix. Alice hopped up next to him, putting her head in his lap.
Evan went home, and found his three cats, all of them sleeping on his bed. "Awww, cinnamon buns on a tray." He took a picture and lay on the bed carefully between the triangle of fluffy buns, and hugged his favorite. Tux, a tuxedo cat with a mustache. The cat purred and headbutted his face. "Hi babies. Ya miss me?" The other two crawled over him and curled up against his stomach. Evan was actually feeling really anxious about the test from Oscar.
(Alice is a reagle btw)
Oscar pulled the paper with Evan's number on it out of his pocket, the receipt spilling out onto the floor. Alice sniffed it curiously before deeming it okay and returning her head to Osar's lap. Oscar ran his thumb over the paper, knowing his phone was in his pocket. He almost always had a very carefree, reckless prince-like look to him, although he sometimes would get anxious about little things like this.
Evan sighed as he checked his phone, then put it on the bed face up, and returned his attention to his cats. The other two were Taffy, A tabby cat, and Milo, a big fat turtle shell cat.
Oscar sighed and took out his phone, typing out the number and then a text.
Hey, it's the guy from Walmart, Oscar. You have plans tomorrow?
He nearly leapt up when he got a text, and grabbed his phone. 'Oscar huh? I'm Evan, and yes I do have plans tomorrow, but none tonight.' He then sent a wink emoji after the text, and hugged his cats out of excitement.
Oscar read the text and grinned, showing it to Alice before getting up. "Looks like I'm going somewhere, princess," He said with a sigh, picking up his phone again. I can roll with that. Where do you live?
'Where do I-uhhhhh. Maybe dinner first? My treat.' He offered up instead, as Tux stretched out. Evan looked at the fluffy stomach. "Must…resist…" He sighed and gave the cat tummy scritches, luckily pulling his hand away before he got bitten and scratches. "Damn. Always gotta trick me like that huh Tux? Cmere purr baby." He pet the cat, giving it butt scritches with one hand.
Zach shrugged, agreeing. Sure. Where at?
(that was a sucky reply I'm sorry)
(That's fine. It happens.) He thought of a REALLY bad flirt about blow jobs, but decided against it, and instead replied: 'I dunno. Barbeque sounds sorta good.' He then groaned as one of his cats decided his face was a good place to sit. "Miloooooooo…" He groaned into the cat butt. He pushed the cat off of him. "Butt head."
There's a place just off the highway that has really nice barbeque. Oscar texted, sitting back down on the couch to wait. Alice put her head on his shoulder, leaning over to see the texts. "Nosy, are we?" Oscar asked with a smile, turning and smiling at her.
'Sounds perfect!' He texted with a smile. 'Now, to find a nice outfit not covered in cat fur.' He texted with a smiling emoji, and went to go do exactly that.
Oscar gave Alice a final pat on the head before sitting up, grabbing his car keys from the hook and heading out the back door, shutting it behind him and walking to his car. He was a little nervous, admittedly, but he was going to be brave.
Evan changed out of his work clothes into a blue polo with gray dress pants, dress shoes, and got on his bike. He had a backpack on, which he made sure had extra deodrant. Before he left he filled up his cats food and water bills, and then was off to the diner. He didn't have the money for a car, sadly.
Oscar started driving across the highway. The only real reason he had a car is because his mother had given it to him as a last attempt to keep him in the family, but Oscar refused to come back into the family circle and took the car instead. Oscar's family…wasn't the best, to say least. But more on that later.
Evan had a great family. Ish. Depending on who he was around. More on that later as well. He had never biked out the highway and when he got there he was sweaty, and panting. "Damn it!" He groaned and parked his bike, put on some deodorant, glad he had his gray jacket inside his bag. He put it on and headed inside, hoping Oscar was already there.
Oscar was indeed already there, sitting on a bench looking at his phone - nervously, almost. He looked up and saw Evan, smiling and standing up and walking over to him. "Hey," He said in that low voice of his.
He was doubled over, taking some breaths. "Never again…god I have to bike home toooo…." He groaned, and sat down on the bench where Oscar had been sitting. "Oh hi. Sorry if I seem rude, I just biked over 5 miles."
Oscar looked at him, wide-eyed. "What? Where do you live? Do you not have a car? Evan, I'm totally driving you home."
