So, I found this prompt on Pinterest, and here it is: prompt.

In case you can't see it, it says, "You wake up one morning and find that everyone in your house is still asleep, and won't wake up. Only it's not just your house, it's the whole world. You decide to hop online and see if anyone else is awake. You find one new post, titled 'Anyone else awake?' It has four comments.

Anyways, so I was thinking that there would be some sort of reason why everyone is asleep, and the four sleepers who are awake have to find each other, and solve it. I dunno. I'm open to more ideas!

(Angel was leaning out the window beside Michael, still shining light in monsters eyes. Considering she had no other long distance weapons, she thought she was doing pretty well. Noticing Mike wasn't buckled in, she reached over and grabbed the seat belt, doing it for him before returning to her previous task.
You're not buckled either. Anna meowed from the backpack.
That doesn't matter. Angel tried not to fall out the window as the car swirved.

Name: Angel Fairbrooke
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance:

  • Hair: Rainbow (dyed red at the roots and ending in pink 2" below her shoulders)
  • Face: Her visible, left eye is blue. Her right eye is covered by her bangs.
  • Body: She is a pale white and has random freckles littered across her body that are fairly spaced out.
  • Clothes: She usually wears baggy clothing, preferably in black, purple, or blue.
  • Other: She usually has her hair down and has a heart shaped birthmark on the right side of her upper back, which is usually covered by her sweater or hair.

Personality: Pretty shy until you get to know her. She's pretty funny and tends to spout any random fact that comes to mind.
Talents: Art of almost any kind. Writing, drawing, singing, and dancing. She's also fairly good at solving puzzles and riddles.
Other: She has a brown tabby she-cat named Anna who she claims to have a telepathic connection with.
(I tend to also play the cat, so can she be not sleep dead?)

Appearance:

  • Hair: Crimson red (naturally ash blonde). She leaves it down most of the time, with multiple small braids, hair wraps, and little handmade extensions made with yarn, feathers, and beads. it's wavy and goes down to about her waist.
  • Face: Round, with a small chin and a slightly upturned nose. Jade green eyes.
  • Body: Slightly overweight for her height, small shoulders and wide hips. Fair skin, little freckles.
  • Clothes: Very 90's. Think thrift store clothes: faded/ripped jeans, old band T-shirts, flannel shirts, worn-out Chuck Taylors, and lots of bracelets.
  • Other: Tattoos of tropical flowers and hummingbirds on her left shoulder and upper arm, which stop right around where a T-shirt sleeve would end.

Personality: Faith is immensely friendly and optimistic, and very empathetic and her emotions are very intense, e.g. if she sees someone cry, she gets teary. She loves to listen to whatever her friends may have to say but most of the time she doesn't have any advice to give them in response. However, she is also quite gullible and naive and can be easily deceived. She's prone to easily trusting people, and will believe most information given to her, regardless of how valid or truthful it is.
Talents: Can play the piano and acoustic guitar. She's also pretty good at tennis, and has been playing for about three years.
Other: Faith's parents died when she was young, and now she lives with her mother's cousin. She also has very bad dyslexia and is severely allergic to shellfish.

  • Hair: Chin length straight mousy brown hair that kind of has a wave to it
  • Face: Light emerald green eyes that often have a hollow look to them, a heavy concentration of freckles on her face especially around her cheeks and nose, softer features overall
  • Body: Pale skinned, her shoulders are freckled along with part of her collarbone, thin scars everywhere but especially on her back and arms, underweight, and stands at about 5'2"
  • Clothes: Typically an unbuttoned oversized red and black flannel paired with tank tops to long sleeves depending on the weather along with jeans and regular sneakers.

Personality: Lillian is naturally outgoing but as of late has been pushed into her quiet shell. She can be a tad dramatic as she does want to be an actress, but overall tends to be fairly down to earth. She'll listen to your problems and give you advice on them or smother you in care (Like a mamma bird), but never talks much about her own or accepts help from others. Lil will act like the most open, friendly, and honest person, but she keeps a lot of secrets.
Talents: Acting, singing, dancing, and convincing herself everything is fine when really it isn't
Other: Everyone in the world being asleep isn't exactly a bad thing for her and, well, who says she wants them to wake up?

  • Hair: Luke doesn't particularly care how he looks. He has bleach blonde hair, which is messy, but actually looks good on him.
  • Face: He is very handsome, although he doesn't care either way, and he has brilliant blue eyes.
  • Body: He is pretty muscled from work and fighting, and has the supposed "perfect body" for guys.He has tan skin from being out in the sun a lot.He is a golden boy, really.
  • Clothes: Anything that is at the top of his drawers. Mostly pants and jackets, dark colors, but never black. Tends to be white, gold, and navy blue.
  • Other: Luke He has many scars from training and fights, and an air of mischief about him, as well, and playfulness.

Personality: Luke is very outgoing. He loves to make friends, and is very good at it. He is funny and well-mannered, and always knows the right thing to say to make people feel comfortable. He is polite to a fault, and never speaks his own emotions. He is a very good listener, and can offer great advice. He is sweet and kind, and incredibly playful. He is very mischievous, and when around his friends, his darker side comes out. He is very good at holding his temper, but when he does get mad, he gets silent and brooding, which is almost scarier than yelling. He is protective to a fault.
Talents: Running, sports, sketching, martial arts (although he's not the best at it), cooking
Other: He always wears his necklace, a black cord with a tooth on it, and will often grasp at it when angry or nervous.
