Ahem. Frankenstein Future AU y’all? Be warned, to my gothlit friends out there I do have a lot of bad opinions on this book and I will share them, enthusiastically.
So. The basis of this AU is that Captain Robert Walton and his sister, Margaret Walton, are co-captains of a space pirate crew. They find a man-or a rough approximation of one-stranded on a planet with apparently no speech or language skills to speak of and the motor control skills of a newly born child. They take him in, teach him the ways of the world and turn him into a valued member of the crew. Stuff happens after this that I can’t give away yet without spoiling the story but trust me, it’s good. Anyways someone join this I’m desperate for the human connection.
Rules are: no one liners, don’t be an ass, don’t be OP, no Mary Sues. Oh. And no smut for this one. It’s all found family baby! Have fun!
Anyways I will be playing the mystery character that the Waltons pick up on some rando planet and probably one of the Waltons too. This character is predictably, the creature. Have fun with that. I do actually have plot for this. We’ll be starting when the Waltons first meet the creature, and going from there.
In this AU Margaret is not a Saville. Yet. Who knows, I may give her a partner somewhere down the line.
Also, Victor Frankenstein may not seem obvious to you, I intend to keep this a bit of a secret as to the whole reanimating situation until a certain point. Have fun.
