Okay, coolio! So, just really quick, what year are they.

Third years

(Okay, cool!)

Jamie raised her hand.
“Miss Katz?” Professor Snape sneered.
“I’m finished.”

Conner looked at her. How is she done already

Snape glared into her cauldron. “It will do,” he growled and whisked away. Jamie pursed her lips.

After a while Conner finished and raised his hand slowly

Snape walked over. “Yes?”

"I'm done"

Snape looked in. “Pitiful, but it will suffice.” He strode away.
Jamie frowned and looked over into Conner’s cauldron. “It looks good. Snape doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”

"He does realize I'm part of his house right?"

She sniffed. “He’s awful, I wouldn’t take it personally.” She held out her hand. “Jamie Katz. Ravenclaw.”

"Conner…Slytherin" He took her hand

“Pleased to meet you, Conner,” she said with a smile. A group of girls at a table to their right were whispering and pointing at Jamie. She ignored them.

he noticed them and growled. "Nice to meet you too," She smiled when he said that

“Just ignore them,” she whispered. They all had Ravenclaw crests on their robes.

"If you say so, but if they go after me I seriously won't hesitate to hurt them" He whispered back

She laughed quietly. “They won’t go after you. It’s me they don’t like.” She waved at them happily.

"And why is that?"

She shrugged nonchalantly. “A lot of reasons.”

"ok…" he pulled on his robe a little

“You don’t have to be talking to me, you know,” she said, stirring her potion.

"But i am anyways"

“I’m just saying,” she replied with a shrug.

"And i understand that"

She studied him with a critical gaze. “You’re different from everyone else here,” she said and looked away.
