Shiroka gently took Oliver's hand, helping him to his feet. And if it lingered with Oliver's just a second too long, he didn't seem to notice or care, far too content just to be able to make someone happy with a little walk. He opened the door, holding it for Oliver with a small smile

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver offered the tiniest smile back at the gesture and stepped out into the hall. He wrapped his arms around his body, looking back at Shiroka then back to the hall ahead.

Shiroka led the way to the door that led out to the courtyard, always just a step ahead of Oliver so he could open doors out of politeness. That, and he was just a fast walker in general, really

@ElderGod-Carrots

Once Oliver was outside, he squinted at the brightness and shivered at the cool breeze that hit him. Again he thanked Shiroka for opening in the door with another small smile.

Shiroka simply nodded in response to the thanks. He folded his arms loosely across his partially bare chest, the cool air teasing the skin ever so slightly. At this point he was debating changing his uniform

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver was now wishing he'd brought a coat or a sweater of some sort but he didn't care ask to turn back and get one. He'd probably just say he didn't want to go out anymore and he'd gotten too far to turn around now.

Shiroka noticed rather quickly that Oliver had gotten cold, and he would offer his jacket if he had one. Instead, they came upon a tree before stopping. “Would you wait here a moment?” he asked. “I’ll be right back, I just need to grab something.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver tilted his head to the side in curiosity with a small frown - though it looked more like a pout then anything - before he nodded slightly, "O-Okay."

“Give me a minute, I’ll be right back,” Shiroka assured him before jogging off. A few minutes later, he returned with a cloak in hand, smiling like a little puppy bringing its master a toy. “I saw you were cold, so here,” he said, grinning as he held it out

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver mouth dropped but he quickly closed it and looked down at the floor, “You didn’t have to do that… I would have been fine…” He said quietly but he took the cloak gently, anyway.

“You were cold, and I felt that I should get you a cloak since I asked you to walk with me anyways. And I wouldn’t want you to be miserable,” Shiroka said with a small little smile, still retaining his puppy-like looks, seemingly not noticing it either

@ElderGod-Carrots

For someone Oliver thought so scary a few minutes ago Shiroka didn’t seem all too bad. The smaller male nodded, wrapping the cloak round his shoulders, “Th-Thank-you.”

@_sleeby_rat_

“Of course,” Shiroka said sweetly. “Would you like to continue? There’s a lovely little pond nearby,” he offered, grinning as he gestured a little further down the cobblestone path

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver nodded, “Sure, let’s go.” He released a small breath before he headed down the path, towards where Shiroka gestured.

@_sleeby_rat_

Shiroka kept his strides short, making it so Oliver could keep up with his long legs. The path wound its way between two buildings before opening up into a beautiful pond, a small waterfall feeding it from where it was tucked against the mountainside

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver admired the place before him, having not been here before. It was beautiful. He looked up at Shiroka for a moment before looking away, too afraid to speak and ruin the peaceful silence.

Shiroka led them over to two mats set out by the water, where a basket sat. “Would you like to sit with me?” he asked, gesturing gently to the mats with a hopeful little expression on his face

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver bit his lip and nodded a little. He sat down on one of the mats, crossing his legs in front of him. He didn’t know why Shiroka was being as nice as he was but he wasn’t going to complain.

@_sleeby_rat_

Shiroka sat down on the mat beside Oliver’s, the basket sitting between them. “I thought you would like feeding the koi with me. They don’t have much food during the winter, and I think they like the company,” he said, his smile turning softer as he pulled a jar of fish food from the basket

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver looked over at Shiroka then back to the pond, “I’ve never fed them before…” He admitted quietly. He didn’t know this place existed, either, “But I’ll give it a go.”

@_sleeby_rat_

“It’s really easy. You just take a small handful and sprinkle it in. If they really like you, they might even come out of the water a little to eat out of your hand,” Shiroka said with a sweet little grin

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver nodded and tilted his head to the side a little. He slowly, almost hesitantly took a small handful of the food before reaching over to sprinkle it into the water.

@_sleeby_rat_

The koi happily swam to the food, darting this way and that as they ate up the little bits of fish good. Shiroka smiled as he watched, and when he placed a finger just above the water’s surface, one of the bigger koi swam up to nibble the tip while the ninja grinned

@ElderGod-Carrots

Despite himself, Oliver let out a quiet giggle. He dropped some more food into the water, watching them with a small smile and slightly red cheeks.

@_sleeby_rat_

A very big koi came up to Oliver now, and Shiroka grinned as he watched it. The fish seemingly lumbered up to Oliver, and since his hand was still low to the water, the koi simply did a little wiggle before resting its head on Oliver's palm, which it easily filled

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver smiled, it wasn’t big but it was bigger then before. He giggled again moving his hand gently through the water. He removed it a few seconds later.

@_sleeby_rat_

The big koi just sort of rolled out of Oliver's hand when he pulled it back, its mouth opening and closing as it lumbered over to play with some of the smaller koi. Shiroka grinned at the big guy, getting some more food. "The big one's kind of like a dog, though he's a little slow," he chuckled

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver nodded and brought his knees to his chest, resting his chin a top it and wrapping his arms round himself with the cloak, “It’s cute.” He commented quietly, eyes following the big fish.

@_sleeby_rat_

Shiroka nodded, smiling as he got a few more pieces of food. He sprinkled them in the water closer to the big koi, which lumbered over and scooped a good portion of it up

@ElderGod-Carrots

Oliver smiled slightly, before he rested his cheek on his knees, facing Shiroka, “Thanks-you…” He said after a moment, “For being so kind…”
