"Alright, it's fine." Ash said as they walked inside. He looked around the entrance of the building.

"Alright, it's fine." Ash said as they walked inside. He looked around the entrance of the building.
Firiko nodded, leading him to the elevator and pressing the right key before trying to get the water out of his feathers for the second time.
group
Ash stood there and waited for the elevator. Then he spoke up, "Must be annoying to get your feathers soaked and not dry easily."
"Yeah, it can be a pain.." said Firiko, distracted by trying to reach the ones nearest his back, before finally giving up. A few moment's later the elevator dinged and opened, and Firiko slipped in, waiting for Ash before pressing the button.
group
Ash got in and stood next to him in the elevator. "Seems like it could be a pain." He said then leaned against the wall.
"Eh, it's worth it though," he said, "After all, flying is pretty awesome.."
group
"Yeah." Ash said and smiled. "I bet it is."
Firiko nodded, still annoyed by his feathers as the door opened. He stepped out and turned to the side to go and open the door to his apartment.
group
Ash followed quietly. He didn't really know what to do, or what he should do.
Firiko opened the door, blushing slightly at the mess. There were plants everywhere, along with a few stray feathers. There was an open kitchen, and a few other simple furniture. There were bookshelves lining one wall, though half of the shelves held more plants.
group
Ash stepped inside not noticing it being a mess really, he didn't mind either. His apartment was probably messy also so it wasn't that bad. Ash thought about they could talk about, he had no idea what to say or do at this point.
Firiko slipped in and shut the door, completely clueless on what to do next. "Sooo…." he started off, completely unsure of what to do..
group
"Yep, um… So what color do you like?" he mentally punched himself for the stupidity of that question, it didn't matter what Firiko's favorite color was. Why would color matter. Why was he so awkward. Why did all ideas of conversation slip away from him.
"Uhm.. green, you?" he asked, grateful for something to talk about.
group
"Blue…" He said and nodded.
Firiko nodded, "Uhm… favourite food?" he asked.
group
"Chocolate, what about you?"
"Strawberries…" said Firiko.
group
He nodded, "Um What do you do as a job?"
"I work with the flight patrol…" he said, his tone holding a hint of pride.
group
"That's cool, I just work at some grocery store…"
"Hey, grocery stores are cool too.." said Firiko, "Honestly the only reason I'm on flight patrol is because of my wings… they kinda make it awkward to work anywhere else.."
group
"Yeah but you must like being on the flight patrol, i bet even if you could work any job without awkwardness you would still wish to be on the flight patrol."
"Actually no… most of the other's in my wing would say yes, but not me…" he said, "Honestly in my case it's a lot of pressure to stay at my best, since I'm one of the most agile feathered flyers…"
group
"oh, well I bet you are still amazing at flying. Also if your pressured just ignore them." Ash said to him and smiled reassuringly.
"Ha ha I wish I could ignore it.." said Firiko, laughing, "They have me on a wing of mainly scale-wing flyers, so I have to be at my best just to keep up"
group
"Well it sounds that they are trying to set you up for failular."
"They're not…" said Firiko, "They cut me more slack than the scale wings, by they do know I can keep up, and they expect you to stay at your best." he sighed, "It's not that I can't keep up, it's more the fact that I can, see, they keep trying to get the feather wings up to my standard, but then it backfires on me cause they're all asking for lessons.."
group
"Oh, so they are putting tons of pressure on you to help and succeed and you're not sure if you can help?"
"Kinda" said Firiko, "It's a little hard to explain, but that's basically it.." he sighed, "Though I think I'd much rather be a gardener.."
