"Oh…well….sorry, I don't do very interesting or fun things"
She says stepping out of the house, then turning around with a slight smile on her face as she held the door open for him.

He chuckled. "It's alright." He said, following her.

Walking through the trees and the brush, they pass the clearing that they had the fire in about two nights ago.
"Wanna start a fire?"
She says just referring to the bonfire. A mischevious smile on her face.
He hesitated, then shrugged. "Uhm…sure?" He said slowly.
group
"What was that hesitation about?"
She says putting her hands on her hips
He sighed. "I don't know." He replied.
group
"Okay"
She says with an exasperated sigh as she got out a little object from her pocket. Rubbing it in between her hands quickly and blowing on it, then quickly throwing it in the wood. Placing some grass over it, the flame was set.
He was quiet for a moment. "Want me to help?" He asked.
group
"Well….i already got it!"
She says dusting off her hands, looking into the mesmerizing flames as they danced on the wood. The reddish hues glowing and reflecting off of her ocean green blue eyes.
Troy nodded. "Alright." He said with a small smile.

Sitting down in the grass. It wasn't as wet as she had expected it to be, but it was still a tad wet.
Patting the ground beside her as she looked up to him with a rather tired but cute smile. The fire shining on her skin, her freckles showing even more.
He gave a small smile back, sitting down.
group
"So…what did you do on your free time?"
She asks pulling her knees up to her chest, wrapping her arms around her legs as she rests her head sideways on them, looking up at him.
"When I was human? I read. Hid in my room." He shrugged. "Stuff like that."
group
"Oh…..what was your life like?"
She asks curiously. She didn't want to seem really nosey or anything, but of he were going to be staying with her, she wanted to know these things.
Troy looked down at his hands. "My dad was a drunk and abusive, and my mom may as well have been out of the picture." He said robotically.
group
"Hmm……any siblings?"
She asks softly, kind of afraid to ask any more questions
"No." Troy replied, looking down at the ground. He swallowed, and looked at her. "What about you?"
group
"Um yeah actually"
She says turning her head to face the flames.
"My little brother….."
She says quietly, enough for him to hear. She loved him so much. And she lost him in such a horrible way.
Troy nodded. "Oh. What's he like?"
group
"He was like a little sunflower"
She says with an unintentional smile, remembering them playing in the tall sunflower fields.
"Maybe one of the shorter ones though. He was only about 4'6"
She says with a small laugh.
Troy chuckled, then caught the "was". "What happened?" He asked softly.
group
"Burnt to death along with everyone else!"
She says turning her head to him with a fake big smile. Just by looking at her, anyone would be able to tell how hurt she was.
Troy blinked. "…oh." he said softly, looking away. "Im sorry."
group
"How long have you been the reaper?"
She asks him softly
"A long time. I don't know how long." He replied. "I lost count of the years."
group
"Do you know a boy named Conner Stone? Short brown golden hair, curly at the top. His face was infested with freckles…."
She says with a little smile remembering him. She wasn't very good at describing people. He couldn't recognize someone by that description.
"Sorry….ignore that. You don't have to-"
Her voice trails off into a whisper, hugging her legs tighter, pushing them against her chest.
Troy frowned slightly, thinking. "How old was he?" He asked slowly. There were a few possibilities, but he wanted to make sure.
group
"13"
She says looking up at the sky. White stars winking at them in the night
The mood cutting a hold in the dark sky, black as molasses. The stars shun like broken glass in the sky.
"I think….yes. I remember him. He went to a good place." Troy replied.
