"You DO like me!" "I don't think 'like' is the right word." "You tolerate me." "Maybe." one on one

"Probably not…" Lin sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, still looking very uneasy.

@cryptic-glitch

"I think you're cute." She raised her eyebrows, waiting for his response.

@Fraust

Lin flushed a bit, seeming taken aback. "I… ah… thanks?" He replied awkwardly. "Um… you're cute too…?"

@cryptic-glitch

"JESUS CHRIST, LIN!" she yelled. "Oh, my God. You are the stupidest person I've ever met. I cannot believe I have a crush on you," she said under her breath.

@Fraust

Lin stared at Orion for a couple seconds, his eyes wide with confusion. After a bit, it seemed to click, and he flushed harder. "Oh! I-I… um…"

@cryptic-glitch

"Right. Are you going to say anything in English? Or can I go to sleep?"

@Fraust

"S-Sorry, I… I think I like you too? I never really thought about it…" He fidgeted a bit with his hands, still pretty flustered.

@cryptic-glitch

"You don't have to think about it. Now, can I sleep?" She put her feet up on the dash.

@Fraust

"Y-Yeah, um… sorry… get all the rest you need…" Lin replied softly, looking away as he fidgeted.

@cryptic-glitch

"Thank you." She closed her eyes and quickly sank into sleep.

@Fraust

Lin sighed softly and watched her for a bit before curling up on his own seat, his heart pounding hard in his chest.

@cryptic-glitch

She woke up a few hours later and said sleepily, "Lin? Do we have anything important to do today?"

@Fraust

Lin looked up when Orion addressed him. "Hmm? Oh, no… not really. Why do you ask?"

@cryptic-glitch

"Just wondering." She sat up and took her feet off the dash. "So what are we going to do today?"

@Fraust

Lin shrugged a bit. "I dunno… whatever we want, I guess. We're free. Left in a car."

@cryptic-glitch

"Left in a car," Orion repeated. "Interesting choice of words."

@Fraust

"What do you mean? I couldn't really say we ran off because we didn't run. We left in the car." Lin shrugged a bit.

@cryptic-glitch

"Escaped, I think would be more accurate." She looked over at him.

@Fraust

"I guess so… nobody was chasing us or anything, though." He shrugged again. "We weren't really in any danger."

@cryptic-glitch

"I was in danger of murdering someone." She blinked at him. "Lin? Did I. . .tell you. . .something?"

@Fraust

"Uh… yeah. And then you called me dumb." Lin laughed nervously. "But that part is pretty normal…"

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh boy." She put her face in her hands, blushing. "I thought that was a dream. I'm sorry."

@Fraust

"No, it's okay! Don't worry about it." Lin held his hands up a bit, smiling sheepishly and flushing a bit.

@cryptic-glitch

"It's not okay, because now it's going to be weird and one of my least favorite things is admitting that I have emotions."

@Fraust

"It's good, though. It's nice to know you have emotions. That you're a person too." Lin smiled softly. "You're softer then you'd like to admit."

@cryptic-glitch

"Aren't we all?" She sat up and started the car, buckling her seatbelt.

@Fraust

"I guess so. I'm not really afraid to admit it, though." He hummed thoughtfully.

@cryptic-glitch

"Whatever. Put your seatbelt on, idiot. I want Taco Bell." She pulled out of the empty lot and started down the highway.

@Fraust

"Alright, alright." Lin buckled himself in and fidgeted with his hands a bit. "I just think it was nice that you were worried about me when I couldn't breathe."

@cryptic-glitch

"Oh, my God. Let's not dwell on it. I was more concerned what the police would think if they found your dead body in the trunk of my car."
