Az bites his lip harder.

Tyler looks at Carmen sadly, "whats wrong?"

Az shakes his head, swallowing. “nothing.” He whispers hoarsely.

Tyler wraps his arms around Carmen, "if your sure…but I'm here"

Az nods, leaning into him.

Tyler kisses the others cheek.

Az looks at him and then sighs, “Ty?”

"mhm?" Tyler looks at him, smiling softly.

“I need to finish talking to Trick.”

"hes mad… you know that right?" Tyler sat up, releasing Carmen.

“I know. And he might get madder.”

"ok… If your sure" Tyler sighs, closing his eyes for a moment.

Az stays quiet, fidgeting with his stylus.

"What do you want? To not tell me more" Trickster glares at Carmen.

Az shakes his head, taking his hand and pulling him inside. “No. I need to be honest with you.”

"oh? actually? great. I don't like liars, most of them end up dead, but he loves you to much to let me kill you" Trickster rolled his eyes.

Az bites his lip, “Um. . . I’m a cop.” He mutters, tilting his head to the side.

Trickster blinked, "your… a what?" he asked slowly, panic slightly showing in his voice.

Az pulls him into the bathroom and then flips the lock, “Look. That night he I met you, under the bridge? I had been sent to bring you in. I’d been working on your clues for a while. I was there sent undercover to get your trust and bring you in. And then. . .” He swallows.

“I couldn’t.”

"You.. lied…I knew it. I knew you were hiding something." Trickster crossed his arms. "Undercover? Does that mean your name isn't Carmen?… That's why she calls you scapegoat… you…I'm in trouble arn't I?"

Az sighs, “I. . . Look, I am Carmen, but I’m also Scapegoat and Azazel.” He sighs, hugging himself.

“I don’t want to turn you in. Tyler doesn’t deserve that.”

"Yeah, he wouldn't last a fucking day behind bars" Trickster laughed, "but im guessing, since you failed, someone else will be sent after me?"

Az sighs, biting his lip, “They will. . . But I won’t let them.” He lifts his chin.

"you better tell Tyler hes in danger, dont' want them to come at him when I'm asleep" Trickster rolled his eyes.

Az sighs, “You tell him. . .” He whispers, turning away.

"oh hes listening, do you want to talk to him?"

“No. Not right now.” He whispers, kissing his cheek and then turning away.

"He isn't upset, I mean, I am pissed, don't get it wrong. But your the only person here and already mentally hurting enough so" Trickster shrugged.

Az sighs softly, hugging himself, quiet.

Tyler wraps his arms around Az, "Azazel… I like that… "
