The Mafia is a dangerous business, and there's little room for mistakes. But that doesn't mean they don't happen.
The Rocco family kidnaps what they think to be the heir to another family, unfortunately they got the wrong guy. Not wanting to be killed he'll do just about anything to get them to let him go. The heir to the Rocco family decides to play a sick game on their hostage, but will this game make him realise something else?

Dun dun dun, welcome to another impulse RP I've decided to make at 2am :) Rocco can be a stand in name if you want the Mafia dudes role, so feel free to come up with your own.
No temp bc I hate them, and prefer to be descriptive instead.
If I've never stalked your RP's/ never done a RP with you before I can and will ask for a sample of your writing. Keep the sample relative to the idea at the top.
Personally I don't curse, if I do it'll probably be miner, but feel free to go off the deep end. This is a Mafia RP after all.

I can't say I'll be on often, I'll try and give you a heads up but there is no promise that I will. :)

It was a crisp autumn afternoon, the leaves on the trees were gorgeous shades of red and orange, pumpkins and Halloween decorations littered the storefront and lawns of houses as they waited for the spooky holiday to arrive. The smell of warm coffee drifted through the air as the door to the coffee shop rung open, calling to the white haired boy who just got off the bus and was tying the laces to his boots tighter.

Oliver fixed his beanie and blew on his hands to warm them up a bit before running across the narrow street to the quaint cafe. The atmosphere was magnetic and Oliver couldn't help but feel the aura of warmth and love this beautiful store pulsed with. He found a table near the back of the store and asked the waitress for a simple white chocolate latte and a plain doughnut. As he waited, he decided to read the astronomy book he picked up from the library, it had so many theories and studies about the universe and everything in it that he didn't even notice the waitress bringing him his order until she tapped on his shoulder.

A grin lit up Samuel Rocco's face. It wasn't one of those grins caused by happiness, or one that came after some kind of joke, but much rather one that was triggered by what was about to happen.
A few hours ago, the leader of the Rocco family had decided that a war was long over due.
The family's had been dancing around each other for weeks now, trying not to drawl the attention of authorities. It had worked. Eyes where off the two family's which meant now was the time to strike, and the Rocco's where going straight for check mate.

"Ya got eyes on the target?" Samuel asked, holding the simple burner phone to his ear. As heir he hadn't aloud to go along, but that couldn't stop him from at least watching from the shadows. Most of his face hidden under a cap, amber eyes hidden by dark sunglasses.
"Course we do boss," the nasally voice on the other end responded, An obvious grin on his own face.
"Perfect," Samuel chucked the phone into a near by garbage pile.

Oliver counted, double counted, then triple counted the bills in his hand. He had just saved up enough to buy that new tablet he had been eyeing for weeks. As an artist, he used his tablet quite a lot, doing commissions and earning the bit of money he had earned thus far, he was able to survive in the small basement he was renting. He had his old tablet for almost two years now but the pen somehow cracked and refused to work anymore.

The street he was walking down was surprisingly empty for a.street as busy as this one. He picked up a coffee and continued his journey to the tech store. About a 45 minute walk away from his house, but he didn't have a car, what else was he supposed to do?

"'Scuse me sir," one of Samuels men stepped into Oliver's path. The others where already in position.
They had been surprised to see him out without any kind of disguise, or bodyguard. Maybe that meant they shouldn't underestimate him, or maybe it was a stupid move on his part.
"Heard news of people gettin' mugged round these parts. Not to smart haven' all that money out." A wicked smile curled his lips. "Not to smart bein' out here without some kinda protection if ya know what I mean."

Just grab him already, Samuel thought bitterly. He'd never know why they felt the need to chat up their victims first. Make it quick.
Another suck up from behind, a sack in his hands. Old school. Samuel watched as they quickly threw it over Oliver's head. He didn't see what happened next as a black van obscured his line of sight. Samuel could only hope it all went to plan.

"I'm almost to the store, just needed to count one last time before—aye! What the fuxk?" Oliver felt himself being picked up and literally thrown. He hit the metal floor of the car hard and could only hope his bones didn't break. "Where are you taking me? This is all the money I have! I don't have any family here either, you can't ask for ransom!" Oliver kept rambling on in a loud voice, trying to plead for his life. At one point he could have sworn he heard a surprised voice asking if all heirs were this stupid and bad at lying.

"Shut it if ya wanna keep yer' tongue. Ya can tell them lies to the boss if ya want." One of the men chuckled.
The engine started, and the van jerked forward. It was obvious who ever was driving wasn't paying much attention to the speed limit.

~small time skip~

Samuel tapped his fingers on the desk before him, amber eyes scanning their captive. He let the silence drag out as his men removed the bag over Oliver's head.

Now Samuel had never seen the heir to the other family in person, but he had seen picture's. And this was definitely not him. His gaze slid to the men. His father would make sure they played for this stupidity later.
"What's your name~" he rested his chin in his tattooed hands. "Because something, and this is just a hunch, tells me it isn't Gareth."

"I-I'm Oliver. Sir p-please t-tell your men to d-drop me off where I was, I n-need to get some things." Oliver stuttered, wide eyes taking in everything in the small room.

"Not the best opening for pleading for your life," Samuel gestured to an cushioned arm chair in the corner of the room, "sit. As for the rest of you, get out." Any sweetness was gone from his voice.
The men gave worried glances at each other before scurrying out like rats. In their minds, it was better Oliver then them.

If it were possible for Ollie's eyes to get any wider, they did. My life? he thought. "Please s-sir, I-I don't know why I'm here!" He exclaimed, sitting on the chair with his legs pulled up to his chest.

"That makes two of us," Samuel stood, and paced the room. He could only think of one out come for this whole situation, and it only ended in an unmarked grave.
"Give me one good reason," he stopped in front of Oliver and took a gun from the waist band of his pants, "why I shouldn't put a bullet between your eyes."

Oliver opened his mouth to speak then frowned and closed it. "I-I honestly can't," He whispered. "I've seen your organisation, seen your face, and have something against which I can blackmail you. It wouldn't make sense for me to leave here alive unless you had a change of heart." Ollie looked up, eyes wet from tears that didn't make it out.

"So ya admit that ya'd blab, D@mm yer honest." Or maybe just plain stupid, Samuel hadn't decided which yet. He weighed the option. A change of heart? No one had ever said such a thing to him before.
Samuel was heir to the family, feared by any who knew who he was- others had always begged.
"Tell me Oliver are ya feeln' lucky?"

"Yes? No? How am I supposed to answer that? I'm in a dark room with a guy who had a gun." Oliver deadpanned. It wasn't normal for him to talk like that but in situations like this, he would do whatever it took lo live.

Samuel couldn't help but laugh at Oliver's response. "Seems like the odds aren't in yer favor." He held his hands up, a click sounding from the gun. The cylinder released and a single bullet fell to the floor. "I think I have had a 'change of heart' as you put it." the firearm dropped to the ground with a loud thud. "But if you do tell anyone, I will personally see to it that you slowly bleed to death." And then in a mere chipper tone he added, "sound fair?"

"Wait really?" He stared at the fallen bullet with wide eyes. "You're a mob leader though, why let me go?"

(Soooo, I'm gonna be dropping this RP. I just don't feel like forcing myself to RP in something I'm not that interested in anymore. Hope you can understand)
