It's kind of in the middle of nowhere, casually placed next to a few houses. It's now actually abandoned, as it acts as more of a tiny museum now, but nobody goes there.

Look up popular names for that sort of thing and give it one of those or a similar type.
So I know this is weird but the description immediately made me think of the school from Megamind.
That one is called Lil' Gifted Kids/School (the sign says school but the wiki pages say kids).
I feel like that name wouldn't work, but it makes me think of that.
Making it an old gifted children's school gives it a plus on creepy vibe.
