“I love you too.” Raf brushed his thumb along Eyros’ jaw. “Please don’t strain yourself, dear. I don’t you getting hurt further.”

Raf hushed Eyros. “Rest your voice, you’ll need it later, my dear.” He rubbed the back of Eyros’ neck.
Eyros leaned into the others touch, giving off a soft growl that sounded kinda like a purr
Raf leaned his forehead on Eyros. “You’ll recover well, I promise. Please rest your voice until you’ve recovered enough.” He rubbed Eyros’ shoulder moving back up to root through Eyros’ hair.
Lucifer sighed “ come on my two-morning stars, let's get home”
Raf picked up Eyros, the hound a bit too heavy for him. “Isn’t that your last name?” He tried to stably hold Eyros up. “So I guess hell is my home now..”
“ eyros is my son so it is his too.”
Raf tried to set Eyros down on his feet, seeing if the boy was ready to stand just yet. “I know. I was making a keen observation, but Eyros Morningstar is a catchy name.”
“ thank you” eyros said and took a fee wobbly steps
Raf smiled. “De rein.” He gently held Eyros’ arm, making sure he didn’t fall. “My surname is boring. Raphael Lumibrae. Light of swallowed shadow. The meaning varies sometimes, but in prospective, my full name means: He has healed the light of swallowed shadow. I was told my parents were weird about naming me.”
“ at least yours didn't name you eyros” he said and sighed
“You think Eyros is weird? I like it— although it does mean desire, be thankful yours didn’t name you after some dumb archangel.” Raf pulled Eyros into a hug.
Eyros chuckled and cuddled into raf
“We should probably follow your dad. You need to go home, you big puppy. That way, I won’t have to panic if you have an emergency.” Raf pressed his nose into the crook of Eyros’ neck, giving him a small kiss. “How’s your stability? Can you walk fine?”
“ wobbly but I'm fine.” he said and walked through the portal his dad created
Raf hesitated. He contemplated on staying behind, letting Eyros go back home while he stayed on Earth. He thought that it was a better alternative, but alas, he stepped through… cautiously.
Hell wasn't actually hot. It was cold, and grey. A forest of dead trees and ash everywhere “ home..” he mumbled
“It’s a bit cold.. like arctic tundra cold.” All warmth was sapped from the werewolf. He looked around, staring at the dead trees. He was sure no mortal was supposed to see this place.
“ come here,” eyros said softly. In this world eyros’s skin heated like a warm fire
Raf tumbled into Eyros’ arms, shivering from the lack of warmth. His face had gone pale.
“ dad, he needs to get to the castle quick.” eyros said and shifted. This time eyros stood as tall as a dire wolf, his back level with rafs chest

“A-Are— are you..insane!” But he couldn’t fight it. Raf climbed onto Eyros back, feeling very silly. But the fact that he could possibly die from hypothermia made him feel less silly.
Eyros took off at bolting speed, running to the castle.
It wasn't long before eyros reached his bedroom, shifting back and quickly cuddling raf under his blankets
Raf had lost all color. He cuddled under Eyros’ blankets, wrapping them all around his body. “I-I— I told— I told you I was not fit for— for… I told you I was not fit for this environment.” He struggled to speak, shivering violently.
Eyros sighed “ èlshia,” he said and subtly his body grew hot, kinda like a furnace, every breath he let out of his mouth crackled like a fire, and his mouth glowed like coals
Eventually, Raf stopped shivering, but he still looked miserable. “I should have never came here.. but your dad said that you would grow depressed.” He looked up at the glowing hound. “And I don’t want you to be depressed. Is there a solution to my— fragile body?”
“ I become your heater “ eyros said
Raf broke out into hoarse laughter. “Eyros, you don’t have to turn into a furnace for me. Cut it out. I’ll be fine— I have a few options I could choose from.”
