I got a song in French……but the women get to sing English while the tenors and basses are stuck with the French.

lol sucks to be you, i haven't experienced anything like that before, but when we do christmas stuff, the sopranos always get the original melody and the altos get weird drops randomly.

Me: Why are people celebrating and decorating for Christmas? There's Thanksgiving, too!
My Choir Teacher: Okay, guys! We're all gonna sing Christmas music! And one of them's in French, so you have to pronounce things weirdly, while the Altos have to do nothing!
(But we're also singing Jingle Bell Rock, which, even though it's kind of overrated, is fun to sing…And then we're singing a Jazzy Carol of the Bells and Sleigh Ride [I was disappointed by Sleigh Ride -_-])
I have three weeks until my all weekend Christmas concert. 5 songs just for the high school girls (me, Hi) And all of which he yells at us about diction and one is in hawaiian
