Y’know it’s okay. I have a v rough plot, characters mapped out somewhat, ideas flouting around. Hopefully this will work.
I'm going to be working on an idea that I've had floating around for quite a while. I started writing it a while back but I kinda lost steam and gave up 11 chapters in. I'm starting completely from scratch because the first attempt was kind of a mess.
So far, for my prep, I've written up an outline so that I know what's going to happen in each chapter. I'm still working on it, but I have the first 9 chapters so far. Part of where I went wrong the first time was that nothing was planned, which meant there were points where nothing was really happening. I've also started writing up a timeline, since my story focusses on different characters this will help me keep track of where they are when I'm not writing about them.
I also made a playlist, just because. And since I was kind of excited I went ahead and wrote the prologue. I'm not sure if this is cheating or whatever, but to be fair, I'm not even sure if it'll keep it.
