Adorable Anti-social Teenage Incubus. (One on One. Closed.)
Seth crept out to the backyard and sat carefully on the dirt, allowing his wings to come out of his back and drape behind him. He looks up at the sky and sighs heavily. He let out a low whistle. A little blue cat with brown wings comes swooping down happily from the tree nearby, mewling excitedly. "Hey kitty…"
Shiro hears something coming from Hiro's room. He and the cat disappear and reappear in the room. He realizes it's from Hiro's phone. He leans over to silence it.
Seth silences the phone the hears Hiro mumbling in his sleep. "Hiro?" He sits next to the lump under covers, the kitten on his shoulder.
Seth's forehead scrunched. Was he talking about his mother..? Seth brushed Hiro's hair out of his face. "I'm not going anywhere…"
The kitten jumps off Seth shoulder in surprise, feathers of the wings puffing up. Seth wraps his arms around his mate. "Hiro…? Are you alright..?"
The kitten crawled up and meowed at Hiro. Seth asked, "Why? What was the dream about Hiro?"
Seth wanted to pry it out of Hiro's sealed lips, but stay quiet. "Ok… Why do you want to get The Book of Mates though? Something weird happen?" The kitten purred and curled up, rubbing against Hiro's hand.
Seth's eyes narrowed. "Don't give me that fake smile. I know it's fake, and you know that, so don't try it." He holds Hiro by the shoulders, a look of panicking worry on his face. "Please. I just want to help…"
The cat meowed in compliant the nobody was paying attention to it.
Seth's heart hurt. He was now worried sick. "I…" He hung his head over Hiro's shoulder, holding his mate. He couldn't honestly promise something like that…
Seth just held Hiro close and whispered, "I'm sorry…" Tears started leaking down his face.
The kitten squeezed in between them and curled up against their stomachs. Seth stroked Hiro's back, trying to hold back from crying.
Seth looks down in alarm at Hiro's cough and heavy breathing. "H-Hiro?"
Seth sat up a bit. "Can I help? Can I get you something?"
The kitten complained and ruffled it's feathers, glaring at Seth for disturbing it.
Seth asked, "You're sure?" He rubbed Hiro's back, laying back down again, the kitten readjusting itself again and purring at Hiro.
